Ive been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the Riverside/Moreno Valley area for a while now, and Ive finally found it. The atmosphere, food, and service were all great. This obviously isnt a low class takeout joint, its got the fish tanks, lots of tables, and evidently a huge kitchen-- you can hear the sounds of people cooking, which is a plus for me. Shortly after we ordered, I could smell the aroma of food wafting out from the kitchen, and not the headache inducing, MSG laden kind of smells that come out of some Chinese kitchens. The food that followed did not disappoint. We ordered orange peel chicken, Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, and beef with noodles. It came with a tray of rice that the waitress refilled for us once it was gone. The orange peel chicken was phenomenal, the kung pao and noodles were great, and the Mongolian beef was good, though different from what Im used to. I will be coming here again-- this is my new go-to place!

For starters, I felt like I entered 7-11 because of the electronic door chime. They sat us next to the hostess desk where the phone was right above our heads ringing constantly. I oreded the won-ton soup and lemon chicken. The soup was very good. Noodles soft and soup brothy. Then came the lemon chicken. Oh, good lord!!!! The chicken platter looked straight from Betty Cooker 1960s cook book! Tenderized breaded chicken patty with pineapple rings layer on top, maraschino cherries toothpicked through the pineapple globbed with extra syrupy clear sauce. Completely unedible! Its a shame the main course was so bad. The service was nice and friendly. They just need to fix the dining room decor and update their menu.

We stumbled upon Mandarin Garden, when I came here looking for Chans (a great Chinese restaurant I used to go as a kid on special occasions). I was disappointed to see Chans was gone, and Mandarin Garden was now open in its place but decided to give it a try.... and was I glad I did. The staff is super friendly, and the prices are fair.... but the food is great. My husband LOVES Chinese food and is hard to please; but he even enjoyed his good. I love that they are never too terribly busy when I go in, but the food is ALWAYS good.

I was very impressed by this little Italian place. Flavors were delicious! We had the meatball appetizer, and the sauce was amazing. We also tried the puttanesca, baked pasta with chicken, squid ink frutti di mar (not sure of spelling), and carbonara, all of which were good. For dessert, we had the affogato and they even gave us a complimentary panna cotta! Both were delicious. The atmosphere was lively but relaxing. I felt very comfortable. Staff were all smiles.

I do love the taste of food there specially the walnut shrimp and orange chicken... You have to try this place for sure and its not too pricy! I personally wont suggest the soup at all but my friend liked it a lot... Anyway my stomach hurt both times after going there and I ordered walnut shrimps both times, I guess it was mayo and just me, everybody else was fine.

My wife and have tried this twice and she got sick from the shrimp chow mein they have a new food server and she was treeble she drop food on use so we arent every going back there please be very careful on what you eat.!

Got take-out from there for the first time late last night (even on a Sunday, they were open until 10p). The family loved the yang chow fried rice and honey butter shrimp with walnuts. Would get take-out from there again!

Awful food. Not worth the price. Ordered lemon chicken and its gross. Egg rolls are old and soft not even partly crispy. The fried rice had no flavor. Skip this place
