Ate here for the first time today and it exceeded my expectations! When you first enter Jasmine Thai you are greeted by a beautiful fountain wall which, with its beautiful bronze inlay, really sets the tone for your dining experience. This is a lovely restaurant with beautiful decor, really an upscale ambiance with very reasonable prices. From the walls to the table linens, Jasmine Thai sets the tone for a high quality dining experience with food that is as good as the atmosphere. I had the Yellow Curry with chicken and shrimp, while my wife had the honey, pepper and garlic with chicken and shrimp. What I really liked about Jasmine Thai was that the dishes were named/labeled by their spices and you just chose the meats. For example, my order on the menu just said "Yellow Curry" and at the bottom of the description of what spices were used was a list of meats for the dish... in this case, I went with chicken and shrimp as noted above The shrimp were nice and plump in both mine and my wifes dishes and the curry was spiced just right. Now, Ill qualify this statement with the fact that Ive never been to Thailand but curry of all kinds is my favorite dish so Ive eaten a lot of Thai curry and this is some of the best coconut milk based Thai curry Ive eaten. The sweet coconut milk in this curry was well balanced by the pepper flakes and other spices which produced a pleasing warmth. We also had an appetizer of chicken dumplings. They were delicious as well! Well be going back at night because this place looks like it will be delightful if dimly lit.

I come out of 40 years in the restaurant industry and the goal throughout all those years and all those Companys was always the same- do what we do in such a way that our guests leave with a true sense of value and want to come back..and if were really good, that they will tell others. Thats all I have to say about last nights visit to Jasmine, Porter Ranch. My wife and I have passed by this location for years and we on our way to a competitor and made a last minute decision to try Jasmine. Net, Net...it far exceeded out expectations, from service, to decor and most importantly, the food and with all that said, we will both tell our friends and visit it on a regular basis....

Eat at a lot of Thai restaurants, and was hopefull, then disappointed. Ordered Thai ice tea. The sweetest Ive ever tasted. Almost chokingly sweet, with a chemical after taste. Yuck. Added a little water to take the extra sweet taste away. Didnt help. Returned it. Ordered spicy noodles (Drunken Noodles). I order this dish all the time, and very disappointed. Didnt look anything like the pic. Taste wise, boring, and greasy. Nothing more. Only positive, was the wait staff. Friendly, attentive. Good luck if you decide to try it, but I wont return.

good taste .. good lunch portions .. only thing I hated was that their specials are valid ONLY on weekday lunches .. got bummed twice when I went for dinner and when I went on weekend .. felt too pricey for family without the specials, considering there are many other GOOD thai restaurants close by.. otherwise, by itself, this restaurant has good food and good ambiance. The owner remembers the whole menu by number & items.. once she took an order for 14 people without writing down anything .. and delivered it right. Wow!!

A wondrous place to eat at, but the service is not as good as it used to be. the food is ok. But it seems when the supervisor or owner is not there, the service is horrible. It doesnt matter if the business is busy or slow. The service is horrible. Went on a day during my graduation and it was slow. They gave us a check and forgot our dessert. They wanted us out really fast? So, its not worth it... to come here. the ambience here though is really nice and you get so comfy in the seats and the fountain is very soothing.

Went here after Church last week with some friends for dinner (first time visit so didnt know what to expect). The food was amazing, the decor was beautiful, didnt expect it to look so nice on the inside because from outside it looks kind of plain. I had panang vegetable curry with tofu, loved it. Servings are large (I took some home). Shrimp Pad Thai was excellent as was the Spicy Catfish and regular Pad Thai. Will definitely be back. Staff were courteous and professional.

First thing you notice is how loud it is in the restaurant. Its one large room with no booths. You almost have to yell over the other costumers. Second I ordered a bowl of won ton soup. It was very good but only 1 shrimp. The beef and vegetables was good too. Overall it was tasty but be prepared to yell at your date. Also they charge for everything rice not included. Very pricey at 30 dollars a person. Pagoda inn was better down the street.

PRO - Very nice place with good size portion of food with professional staff. CON - One time I went there, the food was ok. The 2nd time I went there, the food was excellent. So if you dont like it the first time you go there, go there the 2nd time. OVERALL - I would have give them higher score if all of their chef cooks the same way but they dont. So its a hit or miss when you go there.

Their soup is pretty good, and the lunch special isnt bad, but its a little expensive for 9$. The salad is literally all lettuce, one slice of tomato, and one slide of cucumber with super peanut sauce. Decent for the portion size, but Id much rather pay 12$ for better quality. Also the Thai hot sauce was watered down, which is a huge no no imho.

Just tried this place for the first time. Had the spicy basil dish with mock duck and pad see ew with beef. Everything was excellent, fresh and hot and the service was quick and friendly. Ill be back! Also noticed they seemed to be doing a solid business with To Go Orders, which Ill keep in mind for stay in and chill nights.

Everything seems the same with just alittle bit of this and alittle bit of that.. Portion sizes are for sharing they say but honestly each order is good for 1. For their spice level its very inconsistent. On some dishes the most spicy is barely noticeable and on others a few notches below are very spicy.

Nice ambiance and decent prices. The serving portions are decent. Leftovers are unlikely but you wont leave hungry Bottom line: worth going back again or taking others for the first time but theres nothing in particular that makes this place stand out from other local Thai restaurants

Had to leave because no one would wait on us. The waiters were outside playing in the trunk of a new white mercedes Benz. Horrible service. it was the worst (dining) experience.

Very good but priced about $2-3 too much per much per entree. Their crab fried rice and Chicken Panag Curry (Medium spice) are quite good. Had take out, cant comment on the service.
