I was craving some authentic BBQ and remembered this spot I went in to pickup a platter to go and after trying it I was really Disappointed it seems like they just dont care about the authentic quality of BBQ. The drums were burned and didnt include any thighs which are a must in authentic BBQ the ribs were not tender at all and you really had to chew on the meat the trip tip was OK but everything really lacked the smokey slow cooked smokey BBQ taste. Im almost positive that they oven cook their meat you dont have any smoked wood smell when you walk in or even on the outside. Ive gone to a lot of smoke houses in Texas you know that smell just arriving at the place. They included burger bread instead of toast the beans werent even BBQ and the slaw was alright. Just not worth the $30 any novice cook could have easily done a better job their first time trying to make BBQ. Their advertising looks a lot better. The lady taking the order was very nice. The place looked like it would be a nice small dive bar at night though.

This place is a hidden GEM in Pico Rivera! They have friendly staff members who are ready to make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend an order of their hot links as an appetizer! Also, when they say "hot" links, they mean "hot" links... They are made Texas Style with a nice spice to them. If you have 3-6 people in your group I would recommend the large BBQ platter. It comes with ribs, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, small corn on the cob, cole slaw, PERFECT seasoned fries and beans. I wasnt a fan of the beans, I believe they were pinto instead of baked beans. I prefer baked beans with my BBQ... not a deal breaker! :) This is a very cool family owned restaurant that KNOWS their BBQ food!

There were people outside the grill throwing fireworks at me and my sister while yelling racial slurs and were also throwing some at our car when we tried to leave. We told management and all they said was they cant do anything... Not coming here again!

Great lunch. Had the lunch ribs with the beans and for me the pinto type baked beans was a nice change from the usual. Ribs were a nice lunch size portion with a tasty sauce. Would eat here again for sure.
