Oddly vacant during my last visit, but perfectly happy with my two experiences, so far. The first time was pleasant enough for me to return with the best possible company this time around. For whatever reason, from just before 12 to 12:45pm on a Thursday, we were the only two dining in. Cant complain, since our order and request for simultaneous dessert arrived quickly enough for our limited lunch hour. I guess theyre kept busy with take out and Doordash type services? We came for the calamari and enjoyed the artery-clogging indulgence minus the sauces. Not sure what it was, but we both were not impressed with those two sauces served with the dish. The flavors of the deep-fried morsels were good enough on their own, so we didnt make a fuss over it and overall liked the service and quality of food. The baklava with ice cream dessert was the highlight. Must try, though admittedly it was the only dessert weve had, so far, and dont have perspective of comparing against other options. Again, very odd experience eating in a vacant restaurant at noon. But it was great being able to freely and easily talk with my favorite person without nearby noise or eavesdropping. Will definitely have to return to see if we just happened to not realize there was some kind of event or incident that day.

Food is tasty, but the meat shaved super thin is in giant piles, but dry. Lots, and lots of garlic & flavor in yogurt side cup. The happy hour is swimming with women (95℅) but when I asked to take one of the two basketball games off the TV, we got treated to sports talk & Baseball. Oh boy! How about houses, or news, or animals, or science TV? The well drinks are stiff enough (for a 200+ man) and the hospitality is wonderful, at all levels. Just consider your clientele. It may vary from day to day. Go with the flow!

We went for late lunch (3PM-ish) so the place was not busy. The service was solid and ambience decent, but what really impressed us was the food. It did feel authentic and similar to what we tried in Greece a few years ago. I loved my pasticio, our appetizer -- the flaming cheese - was both tasty and a fun experience too. Ah, dont forget to get Greek coffee. It is like Turkish coffee, but I am sure they dont call it that in Greece :-)

We had come to this restaurant a couple of times before and the food and service was pretty good. Tonight we came back and were very dissapinted . The food came late and cold. The salad which usually should be served before the main course did not come and when we asked the waiter he said it was coming with a rude attitude. No refill of water and had to go and grab someone for our check. This is probably the last time we come here.

Un restaurante griego cerca del Caltrain de Palo Alto. Su happy hour, con ofertas de comida es mejor que cenar de carta. Tienen una gran variedad de cervezas. Las ensaladas son muy frescas y tratan bien.

Great spot! Really enjoyed the food and the service! "Sunny" was an awesome host and extremely entertaining during our meal! If you love feta this place will have strong scents of the cheese and will also be incredibly generous with their use of it in their dishes. Favorites at the place are the gyro, the short ribs, and definitely the sangria. I had a good time at this location and would come back in the future!

Food was OK - although the portions are huge. Service was REALLY disappointing. Received my main course while eating my starter, asked at that stage for another glass of wine to go with the main course - and had to ask 3 times before I finally got it when I was well into my main. Then they had problems with the credit card payment. After 10 minutes waiting for them to sort it out, I paid cash and got out.

Service: the 1st time we went there, the hostess told us that they were fully booked and not taking walkins. We walked out, booked a table via opentable and were seated immediately. The service was good but can be improved. Both times our servers seemed new and a bit lost. Food: YUM!!! the flaming cheese and meat platter is awesome. Their servings are huge and the wine selection is pretty neat.

We decided to try this place and are so sorry that we did. First of all this in definitely NOT authentic Greek food. The rice was actually minute rice not real rice and tasteless at best and the "pita" was some fake looking flat bread and was not real pita. The overall best way to describe the food is to say that if Mc Donalds sold Greek food it would be just like this.

In mid-June 2017, had a recently new owner who was fun, welcoming, and added a nice touch to the evening experience. My parents loved him. Both versions of the sangria were watery and weak, but everything else was great. He also went way above and beyond: I left my credit card there, and after I emailed he called me back and sent it to me in the mail. Thats great service.

My food was very good but a coworkers food was both way under cooked and a very tough cut of pork. The waitress either had to come back and ask agian or got the order wrong on almost every detail, while I realize everyone gets better with experience the service and issue with 1/3rd of the order is 3.5 stars.

First of all, this is not authentic Greek food. I am Greek and this is totally fake. First off, our wine had turned, then the zucchini chips were overcooked and soggy, and the skordalia did not have garlic. The fava was not even fava it was hummus. Worst of all, our desserts were RAW dough.

We were a group of 16 and everything was going well until the server screwed up and 2 orders were not filled. Miscommunication with the chef she said. Was told it was going to just be on the house. We told them we will just take it to go. Even that they screwed up.

I come for the gyro meat and the Opa special sangria ... both awesome. But many other delicious offerings. Slightly pricey but a better than average offering in the University Ave area.

Good food for the price, especially in Palo Alto (where so much food seems so overpriced). Also good for groups, they can accommodate large tables pretty easily.

Had the grand sangria red and white. It comes in with a upside down tilted SMS bottle of alcohol attached to the wine glass. Was delicious but strong.

Food did not meet my expectations and I am a Greek native. Using ingredients from this cuisine does not mean the flavors are right.

Food is excellent, tried both the pork souvlaki as well as the chicken pita. Definitely get the fries over the rice pilaf.
