I didnt like my food very much, but I need to credit them for the affordable (lunch) prices and attentive (almost too much) service. I had the lunch deal with the meat sauce pasta. My friend and I got a big bread with butter to open our appetite, and very shortly after our salads arrived. Must say the bread was good and warm, but the salad was quite boring. Then the pasta came, and while I think most people might be OK with it, it was below my expectations. I cook meat pasta at home almost once a week and I use good ground beef and natural tomatoes, slowly boiled in water so they become liquid easier and blend with the meat and onions to create a tasty sauce. The version at this restaurant had inferior meat (as it was more powdery and couldnt really feel meat texture) and in less quantity than I use. Not sure if they use real tomatoes, but Id think they used canned tomato sauce based on how different it tasted from mine. So would I come back for a meat pasta? Probably Not,even if the lunch deal is under $10,because I can make it at home for $3/pp and it tastes a lot better. But I would come back and try other dishes, and hopefully Ill be more satisfied. My friend really liked her sandwich~ so Ill try some of that next time. The place looks old but cool, in the sense that all lamps are different, you sit on sofas... its different from the typical small restaurant, has kind of a cheesecake factory vibe to it.

Dear Lilly Wong, I just finished eating dinner at your restutant and could be nothing but appauld by the service your restutant provided. The hostess was very nice in fact she was the one the served our drinks. The table next to us had almost every waitress chatting throughout our 1 hour visit taking turns ignoring that everyone else in the restutant was a paying customer. Your waitress or lead server Sabrina I would say is to be blamed for it all she encouraged the behavior and had everyone else do her job while she just continued to chat with this same table. Please train your waitresses on customer service thank god I wont be coming back. The food is great, but service was horrible !! Yelpers if you wanna feel like Your in high school again dine here with all the immature waitresses! I was so upset my food was cold when it was delivered and I skipped on desert even through it was included in the meal I probably would have waited another hour for a scoop of ice cream

The food is very well priced and tastes pretty well. It wasnt spectacular but it was priced well. Our service was a little spotty since our waiter took some time to refill our drinks and our salads took long to get to the table. Our entrees were quick to follow. The staff was overall quiet and that kind of but a damper on the mood (of the restaurant). Its in a great location and is definitely a good option if you want to grab something to eat before or after a show. The spumoni ice cream is no joke. The little scoop that came with our meals just sealed everything up for us. It was mighty tasty without being too rich. The sauce for the lasagna and pasta are basic meat sauces with some flavor but its nothing you cant drum up in your own kitchen. All in all, for the price you cant complain too much. I take points away for the awkward and uninviting service (thats a very big deal to me). Otherwise Id give it a 4.

Awesome place for families. They do a great job accommodating toddlers and infants with small details done right like bringing out some applesauce very quickly so the kid has something to eat right away instead of waiting for everyones meal to be ready. The brown butter and mizithra cheese is an appallingly good combo on either the spaghetti or just on the broccoli side. The lasagna is some of the best Ive ever had at a restaurant. The schtick of this chain is that you get a full meal with your reasonably priced entree: a loaf of hot bread, soup or salad, your entree, and a scoop of ice cream. Its a lot of food so we sometimes have them just skip the loaf and not bring the ice cream at the end. Its not super fancy but thats not what its trying to be. Its mid-priced, very tasty family Italian. I think Olive Garden would like to be this place when it grows up. ;)

Its ok. Not in a rush to go back but it is a good value for the Bay area to get a shot down three course meal with mineral water for under $19. The general level of food is like if you bought and prepared a bag salad and refrigerated ravioli from the supermarket. Salad is from a bag, unevenly chopped. The bread is very large but, when I visited later in the evening, rock hard and not only barely edible but barely possible to cut. I guess itd been in the oven way too long. Really, it would be been more professional for them to just say "sorry were out of bread" than to serve this. The ravioli and marinara sauce was pretty tasty, and well cooked. Server was prompt and friendly.

Service was not very well. The guy who served us in the bar didnt ever tell us his name...nor did he offer us a beverage until after our appetizer arrived. He seemed annoyed that he had to take another table before his shift was over. THE next guy was nice but service was still very slow unorganized. I had to walk to the host stand to get an actual menu...since one wasnt provided. The hosts all had a Lil bit of attitude not friendly whatsoever. Food was marginal...the bartenders need to be trained on how to make an old fashioned. Again Tim was the only good thing about our experience .he was the only Friendly staff member and was a pleasure

Weve eaten at this OSF restaurant several times since it opened less than a year ago, and we have always been highly pleased. We have eaten in about 10 other OSF restaurants in the same chain, including San Jose, Hollywood, Cincinnati, Honolulu, and Sydney. The food is always consistent, good, and very inexpensive. In our opinion, this particular OSF may be the best managed and staffed of all those that weve visited. Contrary to two earlier reviews that were highly critical, we found the service to be prompt and friendly, with motivated and intelligent servers.

Made a reservation at 7pm on a Friday, but had to wait for 15 mins in spite of the reservation which was a bummer , but the place was over crowded, so its understandable to an extent. The complimentary bread was served fresh off the oven and it was super soft and we finished it within a minute. Unfortunately the main entree was a big disappointment, there was excess cheese and white sauce and pretty much the entire dish tasted like frozen food re heated. My advice would be to eat the bread and run off leaving a good tip before the main dish arrives

The Old Spaghetti Factory from back in the day has a special place in my heart. As a child, I remembered it being a very classy, but homey restaurant we would go to celebrate birthdays as a family. Went here for a group work lunch and was sorely disappointed. Plenty of seating and service was amazing, but food was just....so disappointing. My giant crab ravioli with pesto cream sauce was literally Costco ravioli nuked in the microwave and covered in a weird pesto/alfredo combination sauce that left me worried it was leftover sauce reinvented.
