OOOOOHHHHH YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHH!!! This is the kind of place Im talking about. Lets go down the list: friendly service? check! good food? check! nice atmosphere? check! clean? check! good value? check! No, Im not just saying this, I do believe that all of these things on my list are true for this place, at least for my experience. This is the perfect place for a snack for before or after visiting Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Even though it wasnt hot out (is it ever hot in this part of California?), we still wanted some refreshing ice cream and this place can do the trick! I got a cup of chocolate soft serve with Reeses peanut butter cup and it was very good. The owner and his wife were both very kind and the husband had a good sense of humor. I sat outside while enjoying my ice cream so I could enjoy the view of the large trees across the street. Overall I had a very good experience and recommend it to anyone who wants anything from ice cream to an entire meal.

Excellent service, good food, friendly staff. Richard, the manager, knows his customers by first name. All this is good, but the best indication of a restaurent is how they handle problems. One Saturday last summer, my wife and I stopped for lunch. She had a California Grilled Chicken burger and I had an Old Fashion burger. My wifes burger was fine, but mine was missing the patty! I took it back and they apologized and fixed the order, right away. The next time we ate there they gave me my burger for free!

This place used to serve French fried mushrooms for some reason they stopped recently but hopefully they will bring them back they have great hamburgers and excellent French fries Ive been coming here since 1967 it is a great place its been through a couple of owners but the owners who have it now have the best customer service Ive ever seen

Located just outside of town. This location has a brand new parking lot which makes it feel more welcoming. Great selection of ice cream treats and hot food. A few tables inside. Bathrooms are clean and located on the side of building.

I really appreciate the high quality food and preparation. Great shakes, great fries, great burgers. Even the lettuce and tomato were good restaurant quality. Friendly guy behind the counter too. Good job BCFF!
