1st time at Mijori and it was pretty good. We came just 20 min before closing time but the waitress was nice to sit us right away. Menu was good with decent selections and varieties. We usually only eat sushi so we jumped right to that part of the menu. Great prices I must say. Staff was friendly and fast. Sushi was good and decently fresh - cant say it was out of this world. Between the two of us, we shared: - complimentary miso soup which was tasty and heartwarming - 3 nigiris of tuna, salmon and saba (mackarel). Huge chunks of fish, so far the biggest serving I have seen - WHOA! The salmon was a bit fatty tho :( - 4 rolls: rainbow (was good but not great in taste and not the same without the avocado on top), ichiban (definitely my favorite due to the eel, excellent), philadelphia (the usual expectation) and crazy horse which sadly it was the worst it was supposed to have tuna, salmon and hamachi but it felt like raw meat not fish - definitely didnt like this one. -large warm sake Would definitely return for the affordability.

Fantastic service. Delicious sushi. Very reasonable pricing, especially considering the quality. I understand that there is often a wait during dinner; however, I stopped in for lunch and was seated and served immediately. You should definitely make an effort to enjoy their magnificently fresh fish, whenever in the East Bay.

Best. Sushi. Ever. This place is seriously delicious! And its always packed. So dont expect to just waltz right in and grab a table. Get here early and youll also need to write your name and party size on the small white markerboard eye-level as soon as you walk through the doors. It is definitely worth the wait.

Literally the best sushi Ive ever had in my life. (Blows shogun down the street out of the water!) The service here is pretty good. Loved that as soon as I was seated they brought out complimentary soup and edamame. I ordered two rolls and salmon sashimi. Only $20 total. All of the food was very fresh and tasty.

Fantastic sushi and great service. I wish I could take this place home with me. I finally found a sushi restaurant that had abalone and bonito which I can not get at home. The preparation was beautiful and I really enjoyed the items that included crab instead of krab. Love it!

Came here on a Saturday night for a cute,cozy dinner. Was seated right away around 8:30. Pluses: -love the quaint and warm environment (real candles too) -service was good -burger patty very thick and juicy -crisp,seasoned fries -delightful, refreshing raspberry sorbet

Very, very, very good! Two times we ordered different rolls and one time salmon teriyaki. Great! Beautiful! Very fresh and delicious! Quickly! And great prices too! $10,95 for salmon teriyaki (with rice, two salads and sauce). My favourite restaurant in Oakland!

This is a superb sushi restaurant. Ive never ever had a bad meal, and Ive been going here for *more than 20 years*, since it was owned by the current owners dad. Its even better than it used to be, hipper and with a broader menu. Highly recommend!

My favority sushi joint in the Bay Area bar none. I have been coming here since about 2001 and I pretty much always get the 49ers roll which I love and has pretty much ruined me for other sushi period. Love this place and love their sushi!

Mijori has an always friendly service and great quality fish. Their menu is large and has lots of options. I chose the nigiri deluxe and was extremely pleased. The fish is fresh and they give large portions.
