We road out on bicycles and were looking for a place to get sandwiches or something quick. We knew that we would have to spend $12.00 - $16.00 a piece, for whatever we got. We happened to see this restaurant and just went in and took a chance on it. The four of us were pleasantly surprised at the variety of food, the great service and the price. It cost us about $8.50/each. I would definitely frequent this establishment again and recommend it to others.

Best Chinese food I have found so far in Newport Beach. The restaurant offers authentic Chinese food in a no frills atmosphere. The food is fresh, not greasy, the portions are generous, all at a reasonable price. If you like San Francisco Bay Area Chinese food, you will certainly enjoy the food here.

We usually go for a late afternoon walk around the island and then head over to Shanghai Pine to catch the early bird specials. The food is great and you can beat the rush getting there for the early bird. This place will fill up for dinner.

Average Chinese food. Fried rice is basically steamed rice with some diced veg thrown in. Sweet and Sour Pork is good, but nothing special. Nothing was bad, its just that nothing wowed me. Lunch specials go until 5pm which is nice.

Best Chinese Restaurant in Orange County! Delicately prepared dishes with great taste and NO "salt hangover" later. As any great Chinese Restaurant, it is very simple but clean! We highly recommend it.

This is the Chinatown experience. Everything done using sign language and cash. The fried chicken wings were awesome. 5 bucks for a pound, about 10 wings.
