Been dining at this small restaurant for years. While food has been better than average, the service from the cashier/lead waitress is down right surly and rude. Last time I ordered an item wrong and wanted to change it, she got impatient and short with us "get your orders right, ill come back for you". This isnt a case of language barrier, I spoke with her in Mandarin. When she came back I asked her "why are you so short with us? We only wanted to change an order." At first she looked stunned, then blurred "because I had to cancel your order at the kitchen" After that she hid in the back and no one ever came back to our table. We realized we been Refused Service. That fine, so we walked out. While her attitude has always been on this side of short, this time was over the line. Shes lucky her brother in law the chef is a great cook. This place doesnt stay in business for the service or atmosphere.

Ive been to this restaurant a couple times. I definitely go there only for the food and not for the service. The country chicken, the cod dish, and the pot stickers were some of my favorites. A lot of people rave about their beef roll, but the pancake part of the beef roll was too crispy for my taste. As for the service...I speak Mandarin which I thought would help me get better service, but somehow it had an opposite effect. The waitress was kind of short with our table and seemed impatient that we were taking a little longer to finish our dishes. Service aside, I would still go back there since its the only Beijing style restaurant nearby.

I hope you like dumplings and potstickers because no one does them like here! The dumpling skins have the best texture, not soggy, but not too stiff either. Just enough to give you the right amount of chew. The potstickers benefit from this texture as well. This place has gotten more popular recently I think with Brad Johnsons reviews, so the seating is a bit tight, but theyll get your party in here. Also, instead of the regular Chow mein dish, get chow bing! Its like Chow mein, but they use the pancakes and shred them up to be like noodles. My family has been coming here for ages, and the quality of the food is on point in recent years.

Great restaurant. Ive eaten there plenty of times after some surfing sessions in Bolsa Chica as well as whenever Im in the area. They should consider opening a sister location in Mission Viejo. -That would cut down on the commute, but the food is truly excellent. The interior isnt quite up to par though, but youll overlook that once you try there dishes. I would strongly recommend the Roast Beef and Greeen Onion pancake and youll never go wrong. Theyre shulompo dumplings are excellent as well.

brother Lee’s favorite place closed on Mondays Order: dumplings, potstickers, xiao long bao, beef roll How to order: basically talk to the waitress and have her suggest to you how much of each to order based on the amount of people you have and how hungry you are. trust her. There is no need to look at a menu. The place actually isn’t big, but you can get a table for 8 or 9 if you need it.

Great price and they give you alot. No b.s. this is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Owners there respect thier customers and I have yet to dislike any of thier dishes. I kid you not I have never written a review because its not my thing, but this place is a must!! :-) :-)

Everytime I come here the owners remember my name and order. It feels nice to be treated like a regular even though I dont get too make it or here as much as I like. I think the owner remembers everyone that comes to eat here. Must try their home made pot stickers

My first time here during lunch where they have a lunch menu that is cheaper than dinner. Their food and service are great. If youre looking for authentic food, this is a great spot. Its a little hidden, hole in the wall place. But thats how you know its good
