Have you every walked into a place and felt right at home well thats Country Harvest. I know theres no such thing as perfection but this restaurant comes very close. Not everything can be great but Im sure if you let someone in the place know whats on your mind they would go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and very satisfied. I have known the owner for many many yrs and I know she will make any complaint you may have right. The food is great and very home like style cooking. Newbury Park has been the home of Country Harvest for many yrs and Im sure not everyone feels the same as Screw or any of the others who say the place is not the Best but Im telling you all that you must try it out before judging because not all people have the same experience as other. If you base everthing off what you read then please tell me How soft is your toilet paper.... because everyone can talk SH** but you wont know how things really are until you try it .... So have dinner tonight at Country Harvest and then jugde! If I could I would be there right now !!!

We have been living in Newbury Park for several years and decided to try Country Harvest. Was that a big mistake. We ordered a peanut butter and jam sandwich from the kids menu for my 4 year old daughter. The bread was rotten. It actually had dark green mold on the bread that was plan to see. For me, I ordered a pork chop and it was so burnt and rubbery, I was having trouble cutting it with the knife they gave me. Also, they must have double salted it or something, because it was way, way too salty. Basically, it was terrible. My wife ordered fried chicken, and boy was it fried! It was so fried, the meat inside was burnt. We do not recommend this restaurant.

It smells like B.O. in inside this restaurant. Either someone who works there has body odor, (actually its so bad it would have to be several people) or its in the carpet, or maybe those giant potted plants that they have. Maybe after watering them for years theyve grown some kind of a mildew situation inside of them. I dont know what it is but the last time we went there we had to leave before we even ordered because we all smelled it. I have noticed this consistently every time Ive been in there over the last several years. By the way the food is pretty good. Too bad they dont do something about the stench..

This was our first time in Oxnard. We found your restaurant on the computer in the lobby of our hotel, Premier Inns. We found the place very very homey, like back home in Wisconsin. The food was cooked to perfection and lots of it. Your wait staff is very professional and friendly. You have done a great job in teaching them. Keep up the good work! It was so refreshing to eat and relax in a restaurant similar to being in Wisconsin where everyone spoke English and dressed properly. GO PACKERS 2013!!!!!!!

Lunch was delightful. We had an open faced turkey sandwich with real mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Generous portion of turkey. Another ordered the chicken stir fry with an assortment of colorful veggies. My order of a wedge salad was a huge lettuce wedge topped with lots of bacon, tomatoes, red onion and of course crumbles of blue cheese. The menu has something for everyone, lots of comfort foods all prepared to perfection. Great service topped off our delicious meals.

We found this place through our coupon book. It is a little out of the way from the freeway but was an enjoyable visit. It was very crowded on the day we went and there was a wait to be seated. The food choices were quite large. Even with the large menu the items we ordered we found to be top-notch. They had fresh orange juice that day and it tasted like it came off of the tree. They have outdoor seating and people with pets take advantage of this.

So we hear complaints about the Decor, but really who cares, it meets the style of the resturant, it may not be your cup of tea, but chill and concentrate on the food. The food is amazing and the staff is more than accommodating to special needs and desires. You cant beat this place for down home country coookin. Every holiday is celebrated and enjoyed. dont forget to bring in your own wine or libation to enjoy with no fees.

I"ve been going to this place for years. The food is consistent in its quality and taste. Love it! Under the new ownership, its even better! There are new menu items that my family loves. The portions are huge and its very reasonably priced for what you get. A must try if youve never been. You wont leave disappointed.

When me and my family say we want to go out to dinner this is the only restaurant in town everyone loves. Its like going home to eat. The food is great anytime, the staff is warm and welcoming (Im sure they are taking their lead from the owner Debbie) and its the best place for every occasion. We LOVE COUNTRY HARVEST

I love coming here! Its a nice comfortable place for breakfast. Their chicken fried steak and eggs are my favorite. Only once have I ordered something (the breakfast sandwich) that was not good, everything else is delightful. The one time I went for lunch, I ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was amazing.

This place had been around forever. It is always busy for breakfast. If you want comfort food in a comfortable environment then this is the place. My wife always gets the Chicken Pot Pie, which is a generous portion and pretty tasty. I always try something new and have liked everything I have had.

Was really surprised with this place. Food was quite good (Ill have to get pictures next time). Prices are very reasonable and it doesnt seem to get overly crowded on weekends. Service was great, definitely recommend it for a nice weekend breakfast.

She has support our military on the door but stopped giving the 10% military discount. I always tipped the servers well and we used to go once a week and knew the servers well but I refuse to go back now. Looks like Stellas from now on.

Been here a few times now, and the foods decently priced, and the menu decently varied. In the Fall, you can score yourself some delicious pumpkin pancakes. They change up the interior decorations as well.

Great food and great service. The only problem is its location. Its hidden away in a small strip mall in a mostly residential area. The turkey dinner and Asian Chicken Salad are my favorites
