This place is really good! I had the seafood risotto and the New England clam chowder and both were delicious. The price isnt bad either, well, not for the amount of detail these folks put into their food. The complimentary marinara and bread exemplifies this point best. Using artichoke, olive, grape leaves and freshly baked white bread, marinara and bread are easily worth $3+ but they literally give it out, I had two portions lol. Anyway your probably in a passenger while your significant other is driving right now, so ill stop yaking and just say one more thing stop by, you wont regret it. They were very good about accommodating our large party of 9 on a Monday morning. Most of us had separate checks and that was no problem. Good variety of food choices and everyone was pleased with their meal. Breakfast sandwich was a hit. I didnt really care for the sweet potato biscuit, a little dense for me. However, the regular biscuit looked nice & fluffy. Our meal was ended with complimentary mini cupcakes. Nice touch. The handicapped entrance was an ordeal. It was far from the front for someone with limited mobility. Also, the handicapped bathroom is near the handicapped entrance so it seemed like a long walk from the dining area. Everyone had a hard time parking so try to come in as few cars as possible.

I had guests in from the Bay Area and Albuquerque and thought I would try and impress them with breakfast at Cafe Nouveau. The place was amazing and is by far the best breakfast I have ever had in Ventura. This place would have lines out the door if it was in LA or SF. Ambiance is amazing, colorful, and beautiful. Coffee was good too. Most in my group ordered one of the 6 types of eggs benedict, and everybody was really impressed!! Including me. I cannot wait to go back. Prices were not too bad and very much worth it. Get there early if you want to eat outside. It is within walking distance to beach afterwards (down Sanjon).

Oh how do i love Nouveau..let me count the ways! Ive been going here for years and i dont think there has even been a time when i have had bad food. This is a wonderful place for breakfast (I think they put crack and butter in their syrup) and for a while thats the only thing i had eaten there. Well i was missing out on dinner because its even better! the owner is always there when we go and is always making sure we have a great meal. The atmosphere is great and the prices arent too bad either. Its a must go...or maybe dont so i dont have to wait on Saturday mornings for a table!

friends and I ate there for the first time, what a lovely experience. The place is so comfortable, charming and I love the home feeling there. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. Our waitress and the waiters were very fun and gave great service. The gentleman behind the desk was very gracious to us as well. We will eat there many times in the future.

This place is great for brunch. I come here regularly. My favorite are the nana, chocolate chip, walnut pancakes. Theyre the best pancakes ever! And the staff is always very kind and nice. Tip: If youre coming for brunch come earlier than youd think because the line is always long. Sometimes it can take an hour to be seated at peak times.

Excellent customer service and delicious menu, whenever one of the wat staff walked past they asked if they could top off our coffees and were just generally really friendly. Cute interior was decorated for the holidays. The two breakfast dishes we had were very tasty. I had the seasonal special with gorgonzola and bacon. Delicious!!!

Staying nearby we heard that the fish tacos were absolutely delicious and had to try them for ourselves! We had the tempura fired fish tacos, spicy with avocado - Yummy indeed! A large taco and very filling, tho a little pricey. It was a beautiful day, we sat outside and enjoyed the great music while munching our tacos.

Totally worth coming here. Had the breakfast quesadilla. I couldnt finish it due its sheer size but it tasted so delicious. I also found out they secretly make juiced drinks not on the menu. I got the super green juice and it was only $3.50. Definitely worth it & the quality was still there. Highly recommend this place

Favorite place to come for breakfast and lunch. The blueberry corn muffin is always a must tho!! Today we shared the Nouveau Garden omelette and the Breakfast Sandwich. Tried the hash browns and the (amazing) ah gratin potatoes. Everything was great as usual. When Im doing lunch I am obsessed with the Cobb Salad!

Wow this restaurant is so tasty. The food is some of the best I have had from a breakfast place. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant is clean. They provide free mini cupcakes as the end of your meal. It is pricey but well worth it. The parking situation is a bit odd as the have a lot across the street.

Excellent place for brunch, they have some really good dishes that are specific to Cafe Nouveau. Such as their vanilla maple syrup and their specials. They also have a pretty good omelette. Theres usually a line after 8:30 and a very popular place for brunch on the weekends. It is street parking here only.

The restaurant is very plain & simple, but the Burritos & Tacos are the best I have ever tasted - healthy & filling at realistic prices for fish which is relatively expensive. The rest of the menu is inviting and the food looks very good. The food is so good that I did not use any of its free special...

We were passing through the area and stopped for breakfast. Best call of the trip so far! The food was excellent, I had the breakfast sandwich as a burrito and it was excellent. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast and will definitely be stopping here again.

Stopped by for brunch on a weekend trip from LA. Beignets are delicious!! Highly recommended. I got the eggs Benedict with crab, but the spicy sauce was really overpowering. Didnt taste much crab flavor. The regular eggs Benedict was delicious though, so Ill probably get something simpler next time!

Who in their right mind wouldnt give this place a 5 star rating. Yes, the wait is long. Who cares? The kitchen staff must work overtime, because the tables turn over amazingly quick. Food is HANDS DOWN delicious. Ive only ordered two things on the menu that didnt totally satisfy.

Beautiful venue, locally owned. We especially love to sit outside on the patio where the fountain is. Everything I have ever eaten there is great. Nice place to bring visitors. Just go. You wont be disappointed. Park along the street or there is another lot across Telegraph Rd.
