Ive had great experiences there, until tonight. Tonight, I was served a Blue Moon Ale in a chipped glass. Not seeing the chip inside the glass, I took a sip, cutting the inside of my lip as I lowered the glass. It took quite a while before we could get the attention of a server. Our original server basically ignored us the entire time we were there...taking our order and delivering the bill only. A different server took away the glass, then the manager brought a new glass. With a flippant attitude, he said, "The beer should dull the pain." then laughing, he asked, "Do you need a Dr?" said, "The next beer is on me." He got up and walked to the bar. The food was delivered by yet another server. No one came by the table as we ate. We asked for a cup of ice, but the server we asked never brought it. He passed by the table twice on his way around the restaurant, saying, "Ill bring the cup of ice right away." He never did. No one did. I finally walked over to the bar and asked for a cup of ice. When the original server came at the end of the meal asking me if I wanted my salad boxed, I responded, "No, just take it off the bill." When the bill came, the beer was still listed. We flagged down another server, then told her that she could tell our server to take the beer off the bill. He did, but nothing else and the manager ignored the whole thing...

My wife and I stopped in here after a long day of travel wanting some good local food. On a Monday night there were plenty of places to sit. My wife ordered the chili burger and I opted for the chicken enchilada stack. We also ordered sodas for our drink. The sodas were huge glass mugs that even the thirstiest person wouldn’t be able to inhale and let’s not forget the fact that these were glass so you got a nice one arm workout while you were sipping your soda. Given the fact that the place was pretty empty we were surprised how slow the service was, it took almost 45 minutes for us to get our food. We both enjoyed the food, but I thought the chicken enchilada stack had a few too many black beans (fewer beans more rice would have been better for me). Over all we were very pleased with the food. Our wait disappeared after she delivered our food, and did not show up until we were well past done. We paid for our food and it would appear that the wait decided to give herself a tip in the process. We tried several times to flag her down, but to no avail. My wife decided that since the wait had already given herself a tip that there was no need for us to give her any more. Overall very good food, but service is slow and watch out for the self-tipping.

Wont be back! Went in on Saturday night at 7:30pm and place was 1/2 empty. Host said we could sit ANYWHERE. We picked the last open booth which was larger. We were a party of 4 adults. Rude guy from bar came over and kicked us out of the booth to the tables claiming he needed the booth for larger parties. He then sat a party of 5 (3 adults and 2 small kids) in the same booth 15 minutes later. Place was still 1/2 empty. I guess the customer isnt right at TPhillips and comfort doesnt matter. Place was less crowded when we left so did seating really matter?? I dont believe it mattered at all. If you want better food and much better service try Matt Denneys in Arcadia on Huntington Drive and Second Avenue. Youll be treated much more like a customer they want to return and they let small parties sit in the larger booths even when packed.

I really like the food here and the selection of draft beer in great! They have a number of my obscure favorites from Europe. But heres tje thing: it seems like it is policy to ignore the patrons. Even when the place is nearly empty you can count on sitting for at least 20 minutes before you are even acknowledged. Normally, i feel rushed at restaurants. So Im not one to demand speedy service. But this is ridiculous. As i write this i am in a nearly empty restaurant. I have been seated 35 minutes. A few minutes ago i got my beer. Just now a waiter asked if i needed anything. So, if you want to sit a loooooonnnnggg time to talk or text this may be the place to do it. If it wasnt for this inattention i would have given 5 stars for the food and beer selection.

First, you will read some well deserved bad reviews of this place elsewhere from when they first opened. Service was slow and sometimes unfriendly, food was bad. I am happy to report that my last two visits have been great with excellent food, a great server and a great beer selection and nice atmosphere. Our wings were huge and nice & spicy and the nachos plate was the biggest I have seen - with tons of the good stuff, i.e. cheese, meat, olives, etc. FYI - the google streetview (as of today) shows an ugly concrete wall, apparently from the abandoned storefront before the building was reconstructed into the beautiful new building T Philips is housed in today so dont let that scare you away.

First off, they were out of Modelo Especial which is usually enough to scare me away, fortunately i scored a deal on groupon so my group decided to try this place out. We ordered the bigger size of nachos, it was more then enough to feed all four of us. The nachos were kind of dry, could of used some salsa or nacho cheese but the steak made up for that. Our server could have been more attentive, we felt we were being rushed out with over an hour to go before closing. Overall the beer selection is enough to give this spot another chance and the size of the place was a plus

Bad customer service. It took several minutes to get noticed before we were seated. It was literally another 20 minutes before someone took our order, despite making eye contact with a couple servers and flagging another down to directly remind her we havent been helped. (She said shell let our server know and it was another ~10 min before our server came) Food was alright and beer selection was pretty nice with a couple options on nitro. I would recommend only coming if you plan to drink and dont care how long it will take.

Service at T Phillips is ALWAYS as slow as molasses! Wait staff and bartenders are unfriendly, inefficient and generally ignore you as much as possible whether youre trying to order a drink, some food or just trying to get your check so you can leave. The only thing that redeems this place...and just slightly...is the fact that they have a decent beer selection and the food is good...but way overpriced. I generally prefer going to Sena. Friendly, efficient staff. Good food.Much more enjoyable place to spend some time.

Very nice location, good service, great food, great atmosphere. I really like the aesthetics here. Theres a nice big menu with good variety. Also, you can get a veggie burger patty substituted for any burger! I got the grilled mushroom and goat cheese burger with a veggie patty. Really really tasty, and they didnt skimp on the cheese either. Awesome fries as well. There was live music while we were there and it was great. Definitely would recommend. The burgers are all +/- $10 so its not too cheap but totally worth it.
