Crystal W. and I came here for lunch almost two weeks ago after watching "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" across the street at the Krikorian. This place has such a convenient location! :) It has a small seating area and bar in the front where you walk in, but then you can walk down the hallway and theres a nice covered patio area in the back. We started off our lunch with two glasses of their red wine sangria, which was fruity and quite good. I normally prefer white wine to red but since Crystal ordered this one I followed suit.. and Im glad I did! Then it was time to order tacos... (Esther) SHORT RIB TACOS: Braised Beef with Caramelized Onion, Fontina, Avocado, Cilantro, & Pepper Crema. Two tacos with chips/salsa and roasted yellow pepper. -- This was pretty good. They really piled everything on so it was a bit of a challenge to eat neatly but I managed it ;) The toppings paired with the braised beef well. I also enjoyed eating the tacos with the complimentary chips and salsa. (Crystal) ONE SHORT RIB TACO + ONE PESCADO TACO: Beer Battered White Fish, Pepper Jack, Avocado, Cilantro, Slaw, Red Onion, & Crema -- Crystals so smart--she was deciding between the Short Rib tacos and the Pescado ones and ended up just getting one of each! I think its cool that the restaurant will do that for you. Im not a fan of fish so I was happy with my two short rib tacos, but she really liked getting both of them. The food is a little pricey for me but this place is definitely a great option for the area. The service was great here as well. I would love to come back here during their Happy Hour.

My friend and I came for happy hour yesterday. Lets just say, I cant wait to come back! Service was excellent and the food was delicious! What we ordered: - Taco of the Day: Pork Soft Tacos $3 each - Ceviche Tostada $3 - Green Chili Quesadilla $3 - Loaded Nachos with Short Rib $8 - White and Red Sangria with fresh fruit $4 each We really liked the Pork Soft Tacos!! I wished I just ordered more of that instead. The Ceviche Tostada was good but, I wished it was spicier. My friend LOVED the Green Chili Quesadilla but, she loves anything with cheese. Haha. I thought it was okay but probably will not get it again because there are so many better options. The Loaded Nachos were good but, I did not like the Short Rib. It was a bit too chewy due to the carnitas/pulled pork-like texture. I was picturing it to be like korean short ribs. The White and Red Sangria were delicious! Happy Hour is from 4PM-7PM EVERY DAY so make sure to stop by! You wont regret it! :)

This place is bad news... My friends and I came in last night and totally got bacteria infestation from this places drinks. Its disgusting here. We called to speak with the manager/owner to let them know but the owner, Damon got all anal about things and started defending his bar saying that they follow state and federal guidelines. One would have to think if this place follows all these guidelines that our party of 7 wouldnt have gotten E. coli and salmonella infections. I had a friend that woke up in the middle of the night puking blood and in the morning when he woke up, he had rashes all over his eyes.... Bottom line, this place needs to be shut down for a good cleaning, doesnt matter if their last health inspection grade was a 98% or not... Theres still that 2% that couldve caused the contamination. This place gives a bad name to Monrovia. Stay away if you prefer not to puke blood, get rashes and radiate heat all throughout the night.

Great service, wonderful tacos, we like the Short Rib taco plate the best. If you arent sure request a plate with 4 different ones & choose for your self. (Youll probably choose the Short Rib...) Happy hour 4-7 means really good prices for astounding prices. Dont forget to tip well. The Sweet Potato Fries were disappointing, soggy, wilted. When we got them but they replaced them, then they were much better. Still the saving grace is the service, everyone is kind, caring & knowledgeable.

This place is awesome. I live two blocks away and love to eat here about twice a week. Their Sena burger is delightful if you are a fan of cream cheese and their spicy slaw is very tasty. Bar area is a little small without enough TVs for sports viewing but there is a great outdoor seating area in the back. Try the very reasonably priced brunch entrees and drinks on the weekends. The staff is always very nice.

Great spicy bean dip!! Tacos even on happy hour are expensive. While the price is decent for the area, you can find similar Mexican places for less. Our service was fantastic and its a pretty clean place. Seats could use a wash or cover, but if you dont care for such things, you will enjoy it just fine. Even though they serve alcohol, the place is fairly family friendly and the servers seem great with kids.

The food was meh. Service was slow too. When we arrived we past food that was left on a table...when we left it was still there. I got a chopped salad and my chicken was over cooked. There wasnt enough meat on my brothers sandwich. My dad got sick. I had been here twice before and remember it being good but its not anymore....

I have been hearing nothing but good things about Sena On Myrtle and was a bit disappointed by the selection. I think a part of it may have been because of the hype by everyone and I may have built too high of an expectancy. The drinks were very good and the service was excellent. I recommend the Burger and Fries.

Good consistent food and fun atmosphere. Service is adequate. Bartender can be a little friendlier - dead pan each time we visit. No need to be my best friend but a little less robotic. Funny part is that I could never tell the busser from the bartender? Patio seating a plus!

A good alternative to Londons or TJ Phillips. They have good tacos and other foods that you will enjoy. Their red and white Sangria is also a crowd pleaser. Not too much space here, but they have a nice patio. Dont light yourself on fire.

A nice intimate place to pick up a couple drinks with some friends. The front is a little uncomfortably tight, but the back is pretty open. I just wish the back wasnt open-air. Its hot in the summer!

Prices are good and I really like the back patio. Its a good way to be outside without smokers walking my. We also tried the red sangria and it was great! Plenty for multiple servings to three women.

This place isnt really my scene (Im a grumpy 80-year-old in a 32-year-olds body), but the food is probably the best darn food Ive had at any bar. The lobster grilled cheese is really good.

Wait staff attentive. Brought group and a dog. Seating outside with moveable tables so everyone could be together and comfortable. Food was great! Cute payment cups for change/cash/cards.

Great tacos in beef, pork, chicken, fish. Try the sea stack if seared fish is more to your liking. Sitting out on the street and people watching is a great experience in Monrovia.

First time there and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious! Atmosphere was great too and it was a Tuesday. The only down side I would say are the Margaritas. They are small.
