Upon entering La Fuente it dawns on you immediately that this is a special place , from another time . Family run with friendly efficient service every single dish here is done with the love only a Mexican Abuelita can replicate. We started coming here when we moved up to Highland Park 5 years ago and during that time not once have I been disappointed by the food ,service, or chilled mugs of Tecate . My favorite is the chili verde pork, it is tender and ridiculously delicious. Best home style Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, hands down..

The worst dining experinece we have had in years. The food was bland, and less-than-ordinary, all the textures ran together, like the ingredients came from a bag of frozen food stuff. There is a lack of parking, so during our meal, I was told I better move my car, or face a ticket, but there was no other parking, so my food was cold before I got back. I expect more from any Mexican restaurant in L.A..

This is a hole in the wall but Oh my goodness the food is delicious & authentic service is good the portions are good prices are fair, no parking only street parking, certain items on the menu can take some wait time so you may wanna call ahead especially if youre on lunch time or in a rush. Carne Asada plate is AWESOME !!!

This place never disappoints! Fresh horchata each time. Huevos verdes plate is my favorite! Comes with carnitas over 2 fried eggs and tortillas with their amazing salsa Verde (green ranchera sauce) poured all over with rice and beans... bomb!

Not impressed with the façade of this place but when you enter you will find a cute small restaurant with a great customer service. The food is great, big plates that are not that expensive. The only issue I had is that they only take cash.

Love coming back to this gem in our old neighborjood. Family owned, they always make you feel at home. My choice for breakfast, juevos rancheros. Lunch or dinner the steak with shrimp. The michelladas the best. Provecho... enjoy !!
