Ordered in from Bennys tonight. Will never do that again. Tacos were ok, but they messed up the order and didnt give me what I ordered. Two soft tacos, two hard tacos without tomatoes is what I asked for. I got 4 hard tacos loaded with tomatoes. I also asked for fries with cheese and ground beef/taco meat. I got soggy fries with cheese and beef chunks that were not grounded. After picking off the tomatoes the tacos were ok, but i was very disappointed in the ordering process. The guy on the phone seemed to have trouble understanding, so I made sure he read my order back to me (took a couple times asking him to do so) and he did eventually. After ordering and giving my card number, I got no total cost for everything, nor delivery estimate. It was just "ok thanks bye". Over an hour later Im wondering where the food is. It arrived finally, but incorrect (and cold to boot). Might try them again some day at their establishment if Im ever by there because i would assume they are good when youre there and get things right away/fresh, but will never order over the phone again.

As a casual Mexican food spot, you cant get much better than Bennys in the Fox Hills/Westchester area. You order at the counter, they take your food fresh to order to eat on their patio or take to go. It can take a little while to get your food, but its worth it to get some fresh and delicious Mexican food. From burritos to nachos, tacos and quesadillas, Bennys has all of your favorites along with a basic salsa bar. The tortillas that they use on their burritos are really exceptional and set them apart from other Mexican joints in the area. Its great food at a fair price. Bennys is our go-to for fast Mexican food that isnt Taco Bell in the area.

Hit and miss with this place. Have their great days, when my order is correct. Then have the bad times when things are missing, cold or over cooked(fish tacos) and have a burnt taste to it ( pancakes). I usually order while Im at work so its delivered.. But my first 5 times ordering were awesome, food came as ordered, But then I just felt like they started to slack...I have gotten wrong items such as drinks and tacos, then no avocado that I paid extra for or barely enough syrup for half the pancake.. It just depends whos working that day I guess. So this place is a hit and miss. But cant deny that when it is a hit the food is delicious

I have been going to this place since 2010, and I have seen the customer service gotten worse in recent years. The most recent time I went there, the counter staff ignored me while I was standing in front of her while she was interacting with some people at a table. When I ordered, she didnt pay attention to what I was saying, and I had to repeat the order. And I found out that she got my order wrong when I got home. This isnt the first time this has happened. I dont know if its the fact that the staff there just doesnt pay attention or the music is too loud or both, but I will never go back to this place again.

Id been wanting to try this place for some time, so I stopped by on my way somewhere for a taco. I had this weird experience which was that my order got lost. However, when they realized what had happened they promptly gave me my food AND refunded my money. So I basically go ta free dinner out of the deal. And boy was it delicious. Although Im not a vegetarian, they have a couple of vegetarian variations. I tried the portobello mushroom, along with the carne asada taco. Really great. I will definitely go there again, and will be happy to pay next time!

this place is all right not that great, not very authentic... I dont go there too often even though I work a block away... one day I decided to give it a chance and call in a phone order for a breakfast burrito,the lady over the phone told me it would be ready in 10 minutes.... when I got there (in about 12 minutes)... Not only was the food not ready but the girl never put my order in.... Im never coming here again, for some overpriced fake Mexican food... No thanks... Im better off going to a taco truck on the street....

SEASONED FRIES ARE NO MORE!!! beware Ordering the fries based on previous pictures. They now are these; tasteless garbage fries that have the flavor of a piece of 40 weight paper. They dont hold up to the standards of the rest of the menu. I was shocked to receive them on my delivery. Called in, and even the employees there told me they feel the same way. Not having it. BRING BACK THE SEASONED FRIES.

My experience with Bennys Taco was Bad... I ordered a delivery through seamless ... when I called Bennys taco directly ... after giving my full name and address... Bennys taco did not know who i was...and took them several minutes to find my order ....which in total took me 90 mins to receive my order...Maybe at leisure time this will work but if you have an schedule to keep Bennys is not the place

The huevos rancheros is excellent. The burritos are huge and good. Nice little salsa bar. They have breakfast specials Monday through Friday start for $5.99. Thats from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. the rotisserie chicken and soups are good too. The patio is small but nice, bathrooms are clean, all and all 5 stars on this place, some of the best Mexican food Ive ever had. Its my go-to spot for Mexican food.

I cannot speak highly enough of Bennys. The food is so so fantastic, and the people there are always so kind and helpful. It might be a smaller restaurant that is more tucked away, but it is absolutely one of the best casual restaurants I have been to in the L.A. area. I frequent Bennys a lot and am always amazed at the quality of the food. Once again, cannot recommend this place enough!!!!!

Loved the Chile Verde taco- came by and got the taco plate and was big time disappointed. Salsas were watery. Guac was miniscule and didnt taste fresh. Tacos were okay, only two per plate on generic tortillas. Payed close to $10 for the plate as well. Had the chicken soup last time, which was fair. Overall the food is all right for a taco stand but a bit overpriced.

Cheap and authentic Mexican, fresh and down to earth. A surprising gem. Has delicious healthier options as well, but I doubt thats why you came. Grab a cup of horchata and some rotisserie chicken tacos. Good luck getting a spot in the parking lot, but you should be able to find parking within a block or so.

Stopped by for a snack at the new Santa Monica store. We are on a quest for Westside tacos. The carnitas tacos were great, the service needs to get it together, but was making a real effort. The carnitas were very flavorful and moist and as much meat as could reasonably be folded into the small tortillas.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner last night, it was awesome. Omar, at the register, was very helpful and friendly. The other employees were very attentive and made us feel, along with the atmosphere, very comfortable. The tacos...so good!! We were altogether impressed with the entire experience!!!
