If coffee were God, Red Berry would be its church. Im their devout worshiper either way: Red Berry was always there when I needed them. I literally attend mass every Sunday (sometimes Saturdays too) and leave feeling re-energized, uplifted and freed of personal demons - no hysterical crying required. There may be some after-twitching involved - when I get both the cappuccino and the macchiato... And theyre more tolerant than, say, the Temple of Sacramento, so you have no choice but to try several coffees and bring yourself closer to epiphany. Allegories aside (some would say inappropriate :), I started coming to this place three months after they opened and havent once been disappointed. Im not adventurous when it comes to my drinks (always cappuccinos, cortados, macchiato or espresso) but I have ventured and tried cappuccinos all over Europe and the US and I can honestly say that after about two decades of caffeinated nomadism, Im home, home at last! The Red Berry vestals and priests are a great team too: they were always beyond reproach and have always guided me in the right direction. I humbly thank them - between loud, appreciative gulps - for their pristine and graceful service.

Red Berry is an amazing place to have coffee. Located in the heart of Los Altos, its the place where savvy coffee connoisseur go for amazing espresso drinks. When ordering, you have a choice of three kinds of espresso. Each choice has a description of the bean so you can create your perfect drink. They make their own pastries so you won t be getting any defrosted pastries like corporate coffee shops. The breakfast items like quiche and waffles are delicious. I highly recommend checking them out.

I visit California from time to time and always try to stop in. The coffees are incredible, the pecan waffles are to die for, and the service is always friendly. I got a croissant on the recommendation of some people in front of me. It was the lightest and fluffiest croissant I can remember. On one hand, I feel like it should be enjoyed as is. On the other, I wish it had some jam or something.

What is there to say... Its the best coffee around hands down. Sad to see people throw there money away on Starbucks and peets, when this place is just a few steps away. Everything I have tried has been great, from the caps, latte, Gibraltar and pastries. They even have killer waffles. The owner and staff are awesome, best coffee place I know of.

Did you know that Red Berry gives you a choice of 3 espresso beans for your drink, imports their pastry dough from France (Croissants, Waffles, and Quiches are awesome), makes their mocha and vanilla syrups from scratch, and makes all of their food in-house fresh each day? Its an extraordinary place in a normally ordinary Valley of cafe choices.

Best coffee shop on the peninsula that I know of. Consistently excellent coffee with plenty of choices and good guidance on how to choose, and great bakery goods to boot. You get the coffee in a real cup without having to ask, and there is plenty of space to sit down in a pleasant environment (inside or outside). Try it!

If you want truly excellent coffee in Los Altos, this is the place to go. Their lattes are heaven - the espresso is fresh and hot and never over-roasted or overbrewed. The milk is heated perfectly so that it is still sweet, to the degree that the resulting drink doesnt even want sugar. Price is comparable to the chains.

This is what I want in a coffee shop. Attention and care in their coffee preparation, a choice of beans for espresso as well as pour over and a nice relaxing environment to sit and enjoy it all in. The service is a little slow and the prices are high but the place to go for an occasional treat for certain.

I love that the beans here rotate so you can try new things here regularly. I like that you can also chose the beans for your drink and they really focus on the quality of their coffee. Sometimes you get a miss because the beans have changed though so its not always consistent.

The best, most consistent coffee Ive had in the south bay, including among blue bottle, chromatic, verve, philz (which is admittedly a different style) and far exceeds the popular voyageur down the street, etc. My favorite coffee shop. Even the food is consistently great.

Coffee was very good, but the room upstairs is a bit too "clean". What a difference better furniture and armchairs would make! Also pastries are on the expensive side, and not sure its justified.

Being especially particular about good Espresso I highly recommend this artisan coffee bar. The staff ensured my experience was delightful. They are passionate about their product and it shows.

Relatively good rating made me visit here. Its ok coffee but the guy doesnt know how to make "dry" cappuccino. If you do care about dry-ness of your cappuccino then go somewhere else. :-)

Great iced coffee, and in addition to regular pastry, they had a good selection of treats from Flour Chylde, a good, local gluten free bakery! I will definitely be visiting again.

Seven stars! Great selection of roasteries (blue bottle, de la paz, intelligentsia, verve...). Pour over and ready-to-go, espresso and cold brew. Coffee lovers haven.

Amazing coffee. No one does coffee the way they do in the south bay. Make sure you stop by, otherwise youd be missing out.

Coffee is amazing. My girlfriend and myself thought it was the best cappuccino and latte we had in a long time.

Iced latte and mocha both tend to be pretty blend. If you want to taste coffee, the cappuccino is decent.

Nice shop with a variety of 3/3.5 wave roasters. Espresso dialed in better than the pour overs, I think.
