We were very excited to visit this restaurant after seeing its menu online. The service was okay; the server forgot to bring a few additional items to our table. We asked to split the check in two but were only handed back one card. When letting the server know, she proceeded to tell us that we only handed them one card. The staff proceeded to check the area to find my card. Once they found the card, the server said to us, "I was only handed one card so I charged it all on that card. If youd like we could refund the amount and split it to the two cards." We didnt wish to have a hold on our accounts due to their error. The fact that no one apologized for losing my card did not sit well from a customer service standpoint. We will not be returning again.

HORRIBLE customer servservice. BOILING CRAB HAS WAY BETTER SERVICE...I made a to go order and arrived 5 mins late and one lady asked if we wanted to be seated. After I said "no its to go" she said hold on and pointed me to a lady on the phone. After that I waited 8 mins for her to get off the phone while nobody else would ring up my order...whats the point of ordering to go? There were 4 other customers at the time and 3 employees conversing near the beer fridge drinking rockstars and 2 other cash registers open still cant understand with those numbers how I had to wait 30 mins total for my to go order...hopefully they get new management or employees because a year ago this never happened

Big Catch strikes a good balance between fast food and pricier sit-down places. They have a variety of burgers & sandwiches, and they also serve lobster, various fish plates, and pasta. The appetizer menu features several choices, and they offer a wide range of alcoholic beverages. (But no coffee!) Prices are low, and they are located close to the hotels. Service was friendly & fairly quick. With bench seating & 4 TV screens, this is not a romantic, cozy place, but it is a good place for a simple dinner while traveling. Portions were filling, and the flavor was good. With enough Cajun spice to be distinct, but not distractingly hot.

Not a bad place for seafood. If you have been to Boiling Crab or Kicking Crab, it is very similar to this place. When I went I had their boils in Shrimp and Clams. I thought that overall the food was good quality though I do think that in terms of flavor profile, Boiling Crab is more flavorful. I also had their lobster roll and it was good but I am not sure I would spend $20 on it again. Would I come here again? Hard to say. Nothing really stood out to me and Long Beach is quite a drive.

This is s very, very casual restaurant. The good was very good and very reasonably priced. Service was good. It was the noisiest restaurant that my wife and I have ever dined at. Seating is on benches with more than half at communal tables. Drinks very good and drink prices really reasonable.

I went for the lobster and shrimp special with cajun sauce and I loved it. The price is also good for a whole lobster and the amount of shrimps. The corncob half and the potatoes were super tasty with the cajun sauce. For people with an average appetite and stomach it is enough for two

They do not make it clear at all that happy hour does not apply to holidays. Check out the clear photos of the menu. I basically came here for a quick snack. Also left a tip because the folks that man the front are ok, but that does not reflect my overall happiness with the place.

The lobster was good, cooked perfectly. The cilantro lime sauce was way too overpowering, and we ended up getting butter instead. The Cajun lemon pepper garlic ended up being a sort of chili that was also overpowering. Overall a good meal, but could have done without the sauces.

I had shells in my lobster roll. The food was pretty good though. The zuchinni fries were not that great. I recommend the cajun fries instead. Service was okay. It wasnt busy and the waitress was just leaning against the wall when I needed a refill.

This area of Long Beach needs more places like this: good seafood at very reasonable prices (especially Happy Hour). My favorites are oysters and Cajun shrimp. Even the fish tacos are inexpensive at just around 2 dollars each.

There were fantastic portions and staff was super friendly. The food was great, quick to come from the kitchen, and well worth the price! I would definitely make this a frequent stop if I lived in the area.
