This Lakewood Center (Candelwood Street) Location is close to my home and We have been going here for several years.The main prpblem with this location IS the Management Staff. They seem to have been here WAY to long and are Not Helpful or attentive to cleanliness of the interior. The Servers Efforts are Outstanding and Move fast and seem to respond to the managers dogged requests. the place has gone compleatly dirty and disrepaired no hot water in the wash rooms and unkept. We are so uncomfortable with the uncaring attitude of the local patrons and very bad habits of eating in line and then licking fingers then using the serving utensils....Yuk!.. filthy locals. The garden grove and Buena Park locations are like going to HTB Heaven...A little more of a drive but SO Worth it...(Knott and Lincoln and Chatman and Beookhurst) Both VERY Clean, Great Servers, clean Facilities, foods hot and fresh. Managers Seem most Attentive to the Safety and Cleanliness of the Properties.We Recommend these locations with Trusted Opinions.

Absolutly the worst food ever. This restraunt is dirty and not well managed one bit. Desert bar was empty. The ice cream machine was filthy with ice cream dripping all over the floor. No ice cream all evening. When asking the manaer for forks, plates of items to be filled for customers she was none responsive. over 50 people were waiting for untensils, and plates. Manager SUSIE is lazy and not a good manager. Godlen Corral will put this home town buffet out of business. HORRBIBLE for the price. Resrtaunt is filthy, and hot plates were empty. No steak and potatoes, pork and potatoes, no chicken pot pies. Cinnabon they would make 12 every 30 minutes. Customers kept complaining to the manager and instead of handling the situation would leave and not show up for a long period of time. One star because the biggest thing is false advertisement!!!! On google maps I found this location to be closest to the area I was going to be one next couple days. Im on a tight budget and there was a promo that caught my eye. It says to get a BOGO free dinner, I would have to sign up for crave connections. I did and all I got was a $3 off coupon. I called the store and talked to a supervisor or manager. He said that the 1 free dinner was for special events (ie birthdays) I explained I had the promo from the website on my phone and it didnt say anything about it. Just to sign up. I was extremely disappointed as I havent been to a HB for quite a few years and was excited to go. They shouldnt be giving out promos on their website if it isnt for the right event. I expect a BOGO free dinner. I have the screenshot of it....

Im sad to report that not much has changed since the last reviewer. I cant here with my mother and sister yesterday to enjoy roast beef dinner and bbq. The place wan bit crowded but a shortage of food was at hand. The bbq ribs are pork not beef and gone every five minutes. Roast beef was dry, and everything else was as expected. I give the service here a 2/5. Did quality 2.5/5, cleanliness 2/5. The dining area was a bit messy. Floors really needed to be swept at all times. Desserts selection was poor at best, the ice cream machines are out of order out give only vanilla. I had to wait almost 10 minutes in line for two pieces of ribs. The food gave me an upset stomach the next morning. Cleanliness is very poor here. For being in a nicer area of LA is sure is rundown.

If food quantity is what youre seeking this is the place to go. When we went Meatloaf was the special and it was actually quite good. Their rolls are delicious and I enjoyed the popcorn shrimp. I wouldnt say its quality food ,its more the quantity again if thats your thing. The price is right for sure. If I had my choice Id probably go to one of the restaurants in the neighborhood close by. Not that it was bad or anything it was just a lot of starch. Customer service was great

Ever since the chapter 11 was filed by the chain this location is going downhill. No softserve, no one to tell the adults to watch their kids. Good spilled everywhere. Desserts are cold,dry, and not tended to. Servers seem to stay with "regular" customers and ignore others. The good is hot and kept up but your lucky to get meat cut sometimes. The chain should just close the rest of them down. And Golden corral isnt any better. Go try wood grill in Norwalk

Thursday Morning are generally a special time for my wife and I to have a nice breakfast away from the area. The google information web site lists everything with this place. They do not skip a beat. Information is really important. So it needs to be CORRECT! They Blew it! Their Posted Hours on the site were wrong. We got there at 9:15 AM and were told that they do not open until 10:30 AM. A blown trip! Wasted time and fuel.

Normally go for dinner buffet, but back again today for lunch. Everything looks superbly fresh. Salad bar is great with many choices to choose from...., hot food is nothing fancy, but they are simple and basic and actually taste OK to me. Glad they are very much edible and not too salty. Service is good, a friendly enjoyable place to dine. Hope all last.

Came on a Tuesday with a coupon , so worth it . I wouldnt come without one just because I cant eat but a salad and dessert . Selection has gone down a bit but salad remains good love the fried chicken . Restroom was dirty someone made a mess but informed the front desk and they sent someone right away . Great service !

The food was good. They kept putting fresh food out and the attendants keep it very clean. The only thing that I dont like is the dinner plates are all scratched up and so it takes away the classy in the meal..

Always know where I can get a good meal! No need to worry over what to eat, or not to eat...you can have it all! Waitresses are nice, food is good, environment is chill, and the price is afordable.
