Very disappointing quality of food and service. We were there last night and the the Kung pao chicken was tasteless, they say it to be spicy but it was sweet enough for a 5 year old to eat comfortably. We requested for noodles instead of rice for another dish, they asked for an extra $1 which we willingly paid but got lumpy noodles, no salt or temper. I usually dont write reviews, that too negative ones. Lastly, the general cleanliness is way below expectations. We like to eat at Pei Wei and have been doing it for years , like them to pull up their socks and get to work. One more chance before we write you off. Change soon.

Been coming to this place on and off for a couple years. Service has always been pretty slow, though the food is usually quite good. Have had several experiences, today included that staff have screwed up or neglected to make my order. Saw the chef holding his cell phone for about 5 minutes today while he made my food, which is pretty concerning considering how dirty cell phones are. Cooking while talking on the phone is unsanitary. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

This is an awful restaurant. They have yet to get my order right after going there several times and they often "forget" food from the order. The food is also not up to Pei Wei quality. The soup was so salty last night that it was not edible. The staff is incompetent and rude. If you want Pei Wei, go to the Bluffs location in Newport Beach...dont go here!

The Laguna Niguel location is not that up to par. Compared to Lake Forest. Its like they are 2 different companies or something. There is always something, whether my order wasnt right to gross filthy forks in the container for us to chose from. This is a good rating that Im giving considering all those factors. Not very happy here.

I like this Pei Wei because it is always fairly quiet. There is lots of seating and it is always clean. Service at this location can be a little on the utilitarian side, but otherwise it if a very reliable place to grab a quick dinner or lunch.

I was very impressed with Pei Weis. It tasted very fresh and the eating area was clean and well maintained.. If you want Chiense food that is almost as fast as Panda Express, but even fresher (in my opinion), Pei Weis is for you.
