I dont eat sushi and we just moved to the Lamorinda area less than a year ago. My daughter came to visit and she loves sushi so I spent some quality time looking at reviews for area sushi places. Seven of us went, only four of us ate sushi, and we all left pleased. The sushi eaters all enjoyed the sushi and the rest of us tried terriakyi chicken, peach chicken, and salmon udon. I would definitely return.

Im pretty much a regular at the place. We eat there just about every week. They know me by sight and a few of them by name. I mostly eat To-Go and have never had a bad order. Im not too adventurous but could tell you that the NY rolls, tempura dinner, miso soup, and edamame are great! Ive also enjoyed their Godzilla roll and a spicy salmon roll.

The sushi was very bad, slow poor service. They rushed my wife and I out even before we were done eating. They dont understand how to make real sushi. Why pay a high price for sushi that is done so poorly. Dont go here if you like real sushi. Also its noisy and over priced.

Tired restaurant. Good ok. Sushi not the freshest. OK waitstaff, not warm, engaging or fun to add to experience. It wasnt bad, just not good. Have to admit, my standards for Japanese restaurants are very high.

This is my FAVORITE Japanese food restaurant (Lafayette) The fish is very fresh and served creatively. Try the white garlic tuna, the spicy scallops, unagi, the lobster hand roll and the godzilla roll. YUM!
