We ordered a big dinner from there: soup, apps, noodles, 2 chicken dishes, shrimp dish...The food all tasted the same, like nothing! Even my son, who will gobble down any chinese food thought the stuff tasted like mush. I was not impressed and only went b/c all the reviews were so good. We ordered from across the street (some place nxt to lamorinda pizza) and the ribs were great!

Anyone who rates this restaurant low has major issues and possibly dead taste buds. Weve been going there over many years and the food and service is always excellent. One of the "must do" things our out of town visitors insist on is to go back and eat at Chef Cao while they are here!

The best Chinese reataurant Ive ever been to... and Ive tried a lot! Beautiful environment. Delicious food (potstickers are a fav!). Fast service (not on a holiday, of course). Friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!

Ive never eaten at the restaurant, always take-out. You get a discount for take-out and even more if you pay in cash. Best Chinese food in Moraga/Rheem area, possibly all of Lamorinda.
