"One, Korean BBQ. Two, I wanna fill up on you. Three, grills look clean to me, and large intestine is the only one for me. And four, repeat steps one thru three. Five, make you lose money on me. If I ever believe my lunch is done, then, Ill start back at One." - parody of "Back at One", Brian McKnight One BBQ, the latest tenant of the building which formerly house Bulgogi House, VIP Buffet and other Asian-themed restaurants, fit the bill for a family together celebrating the birthday of yours truly. One BBQ has various pricing options, from $9.99 - $17.99. The $9.99 A menu has 20 options to choose from, so we went with that. 5 banchan greeted us at our table. We were told by the attendant that only 3 items could be selected at a time, but additional meat can be requested once the previous 3 items were on the grill. The shining meat stars for me were- Large intestine Pork cheek Beef belly Marinated squid I enjoy eating fattier cuts, which have the most flavor & the most nutrition. These three were unctuous in every aspect. Of course, large intestine has a special place in my heart. Cooked till its crunchy, each ring of bowel bliss made me happy as a fly on poop. Plenty of screens display KPOP music videos. I caught a couple videos from PSY. You know, the "Gangnam Style" guy. One BBQ has an interesting game for parties of 6 or more. One person plays rock, paper, scissors with one of the staff. If the person wins, the entire party can win free sodas, soju & other goodies. Nice touch! Full bar with various libations to choose from, if youre looking to take the edge off after a hard day. Service was good. The staff were quick to accommodate the almost insurmountable requests from us for more meat, along with smaller things like banchan, oil & sodas. Seating is plentiful via tables. The buffet trays from the previous tenants act as a staging area for the meat. The staff quickly scoops them up, bringing the meat to hungry masses. The floor seemed to be recently waxed, as it proved slippery. Put it this way, I could twist back & forth in my skate shoes no problem. That slippery. Be careful when walking around. The restroom had interesting sinks. Be careful, though. Water can easily overflow towards you while washing your hands, making it seem as if you pee-peed your pants. Parking is plentiful in a private lot. One BBQ delivers in KBBQ department. The meat selection was on point, the service was good & all in a hip, festive environment. Forget Mr. Lees & Red Palace! One BBQ has the $9.99 down pat! I enjoyed my pre-birthday family lunch & will venture here again when things like waist size & bloating dont particularly concern me. Highly recommend! Visited Bulgogi House on 11/13/2015. Apparently they have new management they have different tiers of AYCE BBQ eating, other sites have confirmed that and dont mention pricing so much. Their website needs to be updated to reflect their price as new pricing is $9.99 for 12 items $13.99 and $17.99. I dont remember how many items there are in the additional cost tiers, but you can say there possibly about 6 more items per price increase. Seating is ample here, but you need to wait to get seated. All tables are connected, which is not good if you want private seating or a more intimate setting you will not find that here; however, it is good for large groups. Visit was good the servers made frequent check ins to see if we needed any additional requests in meats and side dishes. This location got rid of the buffet that it use to have I am not sure what they are going to do with the additional space, but I hope they change it up to private seating and that they get rid of the empty dance hall vibe it has going on and make it more like youre going into a hip party like some of the other korean BBQ joints Ive gone to. I did like the service and I liked the food for the price all though some of the meats are kind of questionable I had Smoke Bacon, Marinated Chicken, Marinated Squid, Beef Brisket and the last meat looked like Pork bulgogi but shredded? I liked the Squid and the Smoke Bacon, Marinated Chicken and the shredded bulgogi was kind of questionable. Service was ample and speedy with frequent check ins to see if we needed servicing. other than that I dont mind to make the trip out here for a really good priced KBBQ you cant complain for a basic $9.99 starting offering, I wonder what the higher priced quality meats are like, so I might make a couple more trips to Bulgogi House in La Palma, CA for that. I also want to add that the music was a bit on the loud side that other people eating have to speak up which is amplified in the eating area since this place is sort of like a dance hall so be prepared to speak loudly to be heard.

Would come again and planning my party reservations here next time! And I live 30 minutes away so this place is definitely worth it. Opinion on Environment/Foods: 1. One BBQ has a variety of different side dishes weekly, so it provides a variety of new side dishes for people to try here and there: 5/5. 2. This is the widest variety of meats for $9.99 I have ever seen which even includes free rice: 5/5. 3. The quality of the meats is like any other KBBQ place that is under $20, so no complaints here; the brisket will, of course, be kind of fatty but thats what KBBQ is: 5/5. 4. Great for any sort of range of people/parties, whether it is 1, 2, or 50. Experience with Time: I went today with a few friends (group of 3) and the service was quick (probably because its a Wednesday, not sure) and I was seated after I said, "Party of 3." We were seated and asked for drinks: 2 sodas and 1 water. Following this, I ordered 3 different meats to start off with: brisket, pork belly, and pork cheek. From there, we ate here for about 1 and a half hours and ordered almost everything off of the menu, had time to grill, had the grill changed plenty of times, and left full and satisfied. Experience with Severs: My servers name was Jonathan and he was responsible for our perfect visit. For a second I thought he was the manager because he was so professional and knowledgeable, unlike other mediocre servers in several KBBQ places I have been to before. He was well aware of the timing of how long everything would take, so when he said 10 minutes, it really was 10 minutes (for meat, etc). On top of that, he suggested several meats when we were iffy about what to order and it turned out great! The rib fingers and the iron steak was a unique choice; I havent seen either one at any other KBBQ place. The other server we had was great as well.

Fancy place with an club vibe, but horrible food and service. ○ The meat was mostly fat (talking 90% and worst) and cut extremely thin. I came for Korean BBQ not bacon. ○ The meat was hardly salty enough, it felt like eating spoon full of sugar on some meats ○Horrible sea food prep, shrimp looked black and tasted like it came out of the sewer, and also the single mussel that came in the soup still had sea plants or whatever still attached to it. -_- ○Music was way too loud for this restaurant to be considered as a cool hangout. You cant even talk without screaming. Waiters cant hear you when you order. ○Not really a family friendly place, has an adult club vibe to it, especially with all *stuff* playing on the TV screens on the walls ○Had to wait over 30 mins out of a 1 hour dinner for a soup that was done horribly. ○Had a hard time flagging down waiters, I found it ironic since they wore fancy ear pieces to talk to each other.
