new management, rule 1 restaurant = CUSTOMER SERVICE. Smiling staff would be good - no smiles. Friendly service - felt like I was intruding. CHEAP - leave the lights on in the other room even if you dont have guests, it kills whatever ambiance was left. Ambiance - or lack of, spend a few bucks and get the non Japanese sushi guys something decent other than what looks like a white t shirt. and the best part!!! They charged me $2 for a bowl of rice. Other places might charge you .50, maybe just give you one, but for the price of a bowl of rice, they have lost my business for good and hope everyone reading this will not go there. Go to YEN across the street, similar menu, much more friendlier staff, and yep, theyre both Korean owned but a smiling staff makes you feel at home and makes the less than authentic Japanese food tasteful

Dec 13, 2009. So we show up at 930pm for a snack and a couple of drinks. We are seated and the staff seem nice. We have some sake and order. Immediately after we order we are asked to take care of the bill. Once we get our food the staff are ready to go home and sit at the front of the restaurant looking at us and talking about how they want us to leave. If you are going to invite someone into your restaurant have the decency to see it all the way through. At one point I hear the staff say leave which they thought was not heard but it was clear as a bell. I will never return to this place. The food was not that great anyway. The sake was good but how can you screw up sake. I will be surprised if this place stays in business.

Ive eaten here a few times and the sushi isnt bad. Its not great but good sushi for what you pay for. I went there last night and saw a waitress drop a part of a sushi roll on the ground. Rather than putting it in the trash she handed the piece to the sushi chef who pieced it back together and placed it back on the plate. He wiped the plate around the roll and poured some more sauce over it, ready to go out to the unknowing customer. If they do something like this right in front of all their customers, who knows what happens behind closed doors. Of all the great sushi places available I would rather go to one that holds higher standards.

This restaurant has it all! The menu includes images in each item description and when the food arrives, it is more beautiful than the menu image! Servers are polite, friendly, and efficient. Every dish was generous, beautifully displayed, and sooo tasty! The Baby Lobster Roll was especially delicious! Vegetarian dishes available. For locals, this restaurant is an Amazon Prime restaurant too - free delivery.

Garlic Albacore: (A) Delicious, very tasty with thin slices of fried garlic. Be sure to eat this if youre not on a date or if both of you are going to be eating this because your breath will smell like garlic. =) Baked lobster: B A bit on the spicy side but still good tasting. Tip: Sun- Thursday: Buy 1 get 1 roll 50% off.

The waitress presented the bill in the middle of our meals. This is rude and unacceptable service. There are about 4 empty tables available at the time of our meals, and the there are no other guests waiting for seating. An educational course on customer service would be helpful if you want the patrons to come back.

The sashimi salad is amazing and cheap during lunch. It has a ton of fish in it, really the most I have ever had at a sushi place. The rolls are always good and fresh. The sushi rolls are not cheap though. However they do have a lunch special of buy one roll get the second half off everyday during lunch.

They offer a good variety, decent prices, and often have a relatively short wait time. You can request to be in the room on the right for larger parties away from the other diners. Location is close to freeway making it a decent meet up spot.

I live right across the street and have been going there every week for almost 2 years. The wait staff are friendly and so are the chefs. I have my favorite spot at the bar. Ill round up my neighbors for an evening of sushi.

Great place for sushi. I found this place after the sushi restaurant across the street closed. They are a little more expensive than the previous place but the sushi is fresh and the service is friendly and fast.

Cozy local sushi place. Pricing is very reasonable and the staffs are very friendly. They offer varieties of different sushi rolls. Their Chef Sashimi Plate is pretty good.

Tuna not fresh, added color to make them look fresh. Please Check your rice part of the sushi to ensure your tuna did not add color to retain its freshness. Taste dull.

Monday-Thursday they have a buy one get one half off deal for any dine-in orders. Their rolls are HUGE and just one is enough to fill me up for lunch!
