I have lived in San Dimas for 25 years and worked in downtown LA for most of that time...close to LAs Little Tokyo. I have never had a better Japanese meal than at Little Tokyo in San Dimas! And Ive been to many sushi and/or Japanese restaurants that are supposedly the best. They have a sushi bar, for which there is almost always a line, and three dining rooms (one of which has traditional Japanese seating... sorry, I dont know how to describe it any better). On any given night, I would guess that at least 65% to 70% of patrons are Japanese (or to my very untrained eye, appear to be). Please dont take this observation as bigoted, or anything like that, as thats not the point. Ive no financial or other interest in the business, just a customer who has been there probably upwards of 50+ times over many years. I would, however, be very upset if they ever closed! Their soft shell crab handroll (spider roll) is to die for. But then, everything there is great. ENJOY!

Ive been going here for about 10 years now, since I was a kid. Every time we go in, were greeted with smiles and friendly hellos. Although I havent had anything than the basics (chicken teriyaki, tempura, and some sushi), Id have to say this is my favorite place. Best miso soup Ive ever had! Admittedly, they have some days where the food isnt as good and the sushi is a bit off, but what place doesnt? Lunch and dinner prices are great! And you wont sacrifice taste at all. I highly recommend this place!

I love Japanese feed but I thought all the good ones closed.Little Tokyo was one of the best Japanese food I have ever eaten..the food was awesome but the service is amazing...3 different people checked on us twice.I highly recommend this restaurant...i will be one of there most frequent customers

Food is usually very good but today my shrimp tempura was a little overcooked and my chicken was on the dry side. Our waitress didnt come by to ask if we needed anything until she brought us the bill. We had to flag down another waiter to order drinks.

Hadnt been here in a while and they remodeled! Fantastic decor.awesome food...love the changes and the service was fantastic. Great sushi..lots of different rolls..overall, highly recommend spending some funds here with friends! Great date place too!

Favorite spot of my son and I to hang out after school, great sushi, great service, reasonable prices, we sometimes ask the sushi chef Dustin to create something special and he always comes up with very unusual creations and good.

Ive been going here since I was little, and I still love it. Their sushi is REAL and fresh (aside from being delicious). I like the dressing on their salad and the Green Tean Ice Cream is one of the best! Definitely recommend it.

Best sushi Ive found in the area! The sushi is a bit bland, for authentic sushi enthusiasts but still good! Great chicken katsu as well. Average pricing as sushi goes. Will definitely be back.
