Just had our last meal at Naras. Tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. We have been coming here for sixteen years. A few years ago Narasan sold the restaurant. We still continued to patron Naras. We seen a change in the quality of the meal we have been ordering. We choose to continue to dine. Especially during Lent. It just was convenient and nostalgic for the two of us. Well tonight we entered the establishment and where not greeted. This was the third week in a row there was no greeting. Three strikes and you are definitely out! Of course the waitress heard from my husband. Thank goodness our food was served on time tonight. We were given a couple of desserts. of course they didnt know I gave this up for Lent. My husband on the other was not going to eat anything that was delivered to him after his critique of the service. So, saiyonara to you all and good luck. We will not come back again.

i have been eating at naras for a few years now and used to be a really big fan. But the quality and service has really gone down the last few times. I went on a wed night with a party of six and sat on a table, we order some combinations / sashime dinner / sushi and appitizers. The sashime came in chunks and some were smaller than a size of a quarter, I think a asian buffet has better cuts. Fried calamari was like eating jerky, the uni was not fresh but saba was good. Seems like they got new chefs and the service wasnt like before, did not refill our drinks until we got the bill and had to ask for dessert, that is when they took the finish dishes away. Also, prices has gone up and they added a 18% gratuity which most restaurants do but at least have better service!! They have lost some customers.

We have been coming to Nara for years. Every time my husband and I decide to try a different sushi place in Chino Hills, we end up disappointed and wished that we had just gone to Nara. The cut on the sashimi is very generous and served at the perfect temperature. The food items on their menu is great too!

Best Sushi ever, you get a lot of fish for your dollar and the fish are fresh everyday, not to mention all the different types of sea food not like your chain sushi bars.

Servers were very friendly and helpful. Sushi was fresh. They have an excellent sweet sauce for their baked sushi. And we got free ice cream!!

The freshest fish in town. I love to order: salmon sushi, Japan Scallop, Amaebi or Pompano, live oyster & uni.

Korean sushi chef that does not even know the simplest Japanese terms. Stay away if you want good sushi.
