I and my two daughters (16 and 22) are foodies. We wound up here one day because the line at Fukama was too long. OMG did we stumble in to something fabulous! Our standards are very high; we have walked out of many restaurants, never returned to others, sent dishes back and ask for a new waiter / waitress when the one we have sucks - never a problems here. We all agree that food here is 5 star and the prices are low. In addition, the service is outstanding and the staff are truly and sincerely sweet, friendly and nice. We had been going to Din Tai Fung in SCP about once a week for a year (also excellent), but now go here once a week and DTF about once a month. We prefer the wontons and hot & sour soup at DTF, but everything else here seems better and there is a greater selection. My favorite dishes so far are the Kung Pao chicken with fresh celantro (superb!) and the black pepper lamb (yum!). My daughters say the braised beef soup is even better than DTF. Yes we are whitties, and this place is always packed with Asian professionals so we know it is authentic. We live and work in Irvine, so we know - when in the OC, this is a place you must try! We have only been here during lunch time and advise getting here before 12:15 or you will probably have to wait - but it is well worth it. Way to go team at Han!

I have never had a bad meal here. The fresh, Taiwanese noodles, small plates, and hot pots are all well below par and excellent values. We go here a lot, especially since the only other place nearby is Fukada, which simply isnt worth the effort to eat at. Whenever we eat at Han, we are always so satisfied and feel great afterward. They have a spicy, Szechuan beef hot pot that will light you UP! I can handle a lot of heat, but this has a ton of the characteristic numbing quality that szechuan peppers are famous for. This is the only place where theyll serve it up right, to my knowledge, in the area. Their Taiwanese fried pork chop comes with two delicious chops oh, so juicy and tender. Chicken curry? More like GET IN MY FACE. Dumplings, noodles, hot pot, all fabulous. The only thing I didnt like was the oyster pancake. Not that it was bad, just not my thing. If youre on the fence about the two Oriental restaurants in this plaza, pick Han.

Our family love this hidden gem. It shares the same parking lot as Fukada Japanese restaurant near Spectrum. Menu offers a wide selections of yummy Taiwanese and Cantonese dishes. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes are generous, and services are friendly. We recommend Honey chicken rice, Grilled pork chop rice, Pig hock noodle, Stir-fry lamb with green onion, and Assorted seafood vegetable soup. Please check it out next time when you go shopping at Spectrum, or you get hungry waiting in Fukadas long line. You will be glad you discover this gem too. :-)

I have been here many times and every single time is a great experience. My family and I stumbled across this place one day and we were super impressed! The food is great and fresh, the food presentation is nice, the atmosphere is nice, the staff are really friendly and they do a great job waiting on us. They have great scallion pancakes (crispy outside chewy inside), and great beef noodle soup with a nice deep flavour! We have since become regulars and since that time, I have seen this place become more popular and rightly so!

They have great food here AND great people working here! The staff is kind and friendly, the food is fresh and tastes homemade, the prices are great, and my family loves going here. They give you more food than you need, which is great because I can have their tasty soup for lunch and dinner! Its great! They have the service of a 5 star restaurant and their prices? Great! You can feed 3 people for 26 bucks, and still have food left over for dinner!

We come here sometimes because my mom loves their Taiwanese food. The only restaurant she approves in Irvine. I personally really like their bitter melon or any other veggies.
