Nice place for a crapie place... Tables were nice chairs are to old thought I was gona break it when I sat down. Waitress/bartender didnt really care about customers. She was having good time talking and pleasing her friends then rest of clients... Only one cook... One cook... Who thinks his cool was wearing sunglass while cooking!!!!!! Geez no wonder hamburger was raw, my bread burnt and hard, no mayo and to much dressing on a so called salad... Worst place to go....

Even though it was late December, my burger was barbequed fresh to order and easily one of the best Id had in years. The tap selection was nice too - I had two IPAs, one from Sacramento and the other from Arcata, and both were from smaller breweries that Id never have otherwise enjoyed. Hopland is basically a speed zone on 101 so the Tap House is easy to miss, but well worth stopping at for lunch and a break on a long drive.

road trip on Hwy 101 and a spontaneous stop- what a discovery! Superb organic beef burger, and a hop seasoned dog in poppy seed roll... we are imagining how to replicate it at home. Excellent Pilsner for me and a black ale for my daughter- Look for the blue door and have a great meal by a knowledgeable owner. Take some time to admire the gorgeous woodwork in the bar, and the original tin lined walls.

Service was very slow, tho the staff apologized a lot. Pretty ordinary food. A chicken Cobb salad was loaded with chicken but should have been served in a much larger bowl.
