You immediately know when someone cares, in this case the owners and managers of this restaurant. Every detail was thought of and well managed, from the amazing food to the cleanliness of the restrooms. This is a gem of a restaurant in the middle of a strip mall. You would have never guessed that it was so good. We had the hummus, the pear salad, the Beef Wellington, Filet Mignon, and the Crab Stuffed Salmon. All were made with that extra bit of care that you hope for in a fine dining restaurant. The server was excellent, checking in at all the appropriate times, and having a personality that lit up the room. Because this is a small restaurant dining room, the guests are all right next to each other. But instead of feeling intrusive, it becomes a festive atmosphere where everyone is part of a community. New friends are made and interesting conversations abound. I have to say this is my new favorite restaurant in Los Angeles.

CF Food Kitchen is a spectacular surprise found in the most unlikely of places. Sandwhiched between a liquor store, laundromat, fake eyelash salon and a donut shop in an unremarkable corner strip mall with very limited tightly packed parking. You will second guess yourself for choosing this restaurant. Dont. This is easily the greatest case of not "judging a book by its cover". Every positive review of Chef Flores food is true. Be aware, while there are many items on the menu are modestly priced, however, CF Food Kitchen is not cheap. Then again neither is the quality. And in regards to that, you would (and should) pay much more, for what Chef delivers in presentation and taste, any where else. Also worth noting our waitress was wonderful and attentive. This is a true diamond in the rough. A hidden Valley Gem that shouldnt remain hidden.

You need to go here! This restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a tiny strip mall. You go in, and it doesnt look amazing but then you sit down and get the menu. The food was fantastic. A blending of french and southern food. My night was made! Get the fried shrimp appetizer! And, if you like duck confit do not pass it up either. For dinner you can get entrees that include an appetizer and a desert in the price. For dinner we had Jambalaya and the Smothered Catfish. My only complaint, if I could have one, was that I wish the dishes had more spice to them. The next time I go back Im getting the etouffee!

For lunch, the Signature Burger is amazing, a high quality burger. The Chimichurri Shrimp Salad is delicious, and quite different from shrimp salads found in other local restaurants. For dinner, my first choice is Beef Wellington, a lovely filet in a crisp brown pastry. It is usually one of the Dinner Specials, coming with your choice from 6 appetizers and your choice from 6 deserts. Or you can get an entree served with soup or house salad, like Pecan Crusted Chicken or Roasted Atlantic Salmon. This is gourmet food prepared by a gourmet chef in simple surroundings.

My wife and I just spent our 25th anniversary dinner at CF kitchen. She ordered the Beef Wellington and I had the pork chop. She started with a mini crab cake and ended with the bread pudding. I ordered the duck confit to start and ended with the fruit tart. Everything was delicious... We have lived in this neighborhood for well over a decade and have never tried this place. Im glad we did this time everything was amazing and we will go back.

Fantastic food . Total hidden Gem . Ignore the fact its in a shopping plaza next to a 7 eleven The food is as good as your going to get at any Fancy place in Beverly Hills at a fraction of the cost . Who cares about location when the food is so good Id rather come here to a place with no massive rent bill and have the same quality food .

My new favorite place for a wonderful meal. The Owner and his wife are so very sweet. My mouth starts watering when I think about the Wellington or the lamb chops. Neighborhood and parking arent the best but its worth it. Prices are lower than other restaurants with the same quality of food. Try it youll LOVE IT!

Despite being in a strip mall in the San Fernando Valley, it offers remarkable meals, great selection, wonderful presentation, and surprisingly low prices. The staff is cheerful and very helpful. Ive eaten in restaurants around the world and this one Compares with the best of them.

Chef Flores is a culinary wizard! All of the entrees, sides, and desserts are OUTSTANDING and easily worth twice the price. You will not find another restaurant with this level of quality, presentation, and atmosphere--- at this price point, ANYWHERE else.

Went for a romantic dinner. The meal was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Our server was attentive and very helpful. The menu had almost something for anyone. Would highly recommend this gem. Only caveat is that the parking lot is tiny.

We have been here three times and have had great service and food each time. The beef wellington is fabulous. So is the clam chowder and cheese cake. Prices are really reasonable. I got all that for $30 on Christmas Eve
