my mother took me to the HAT in alhambra when i was a kid and i remember really liking it , so when i moved to glendora of course i had to try it. i went through the drive thru and checked out the menu , im trying to eat healthier these days , so i was happy to see turkey sandwiches on the menu . it was delicious , the turkey , lettuce and everything else in it looked and tasted fresh and i didnt have to wait long . i gave it 4 stars because most items on the menu were pricey

Big servings! Lets start with that. A pastrami burger and small fries (total ~$13) is perfect to split between 2 people. Pastrami (looks like frozen patty) burger was delicious. I typically dislike frozen patties, but you get do much good pastrami, it covers the poor flavor. The fries and good, but I wish the offered a smaller size for a single person. Some people like the gravy, but I do not.

Delicious Dipped Pastrami and Roast Beef Sandwiches! Plenty of meat. Worth the extra price. This time, I bought the Pastrami sandwich with small fries and large soda. It cost almost $16, but was more than enough to eat. It IS a little pricy, but at this place, you do get what you pay for. You pay a little more and you get a little more. Its so tasty and delicious, its well worth the price!

Food was average tasting but paying $7.50 for a small roast beef, $4 for a chilidog and $3 for a large coke most other places call a medium just sucks. It also didnt help that the straws were all soaked in coke and also dont fit the cup correctly: way too short. Maybe the price wouldnt be so insulting if they brought the food to you and bused it after. *shrugs*

I used to love the hat around 15 years ago, it was cheaper and they gave you more. Now its fairly expensive and the amount of meat they put in the sandwich is no longer eye poppingly impressive. If you want a huge bag of french fries though, then this is your spot, if youre here for the sandwiches youll probably be able to find a better spot.

Soooo delicious. Id never been despite living in the area for FIVE YEARS. Go their "famous" pastrami dip, and it was melt in your mouth good. Word to the wise, though--their onion rings are also delicious, but one bag is more than enough for two people (my husband and I got a bag each and barely made a dent in either of them!)

I have loved the Hat for Decades now. There pastrami sandwich is to die for! The staff is for the most part very friendly even when the huge crowds of customers are not. I truly love eating at this place, you will too. Bring your empty stomach youll need it. Trust me on this, youll never leave hungry, not ever.

Old SoCal chain, reasonably fast made to order sandwiches; rec. pastrami, and anything with chili on it. They give you tons of fries, but not that great if you order plain. Place is very clean, some outside seating.
