McSushi with Bad Service. Stay Away from here. Visited Sunday night on 10/28. First, there are no free refills on sodas. This should have given me a clue. I lived in San Francisco for 4 years and all reputable sushi places give free refills on sodas. The fact they dont here is a red flag for no class. In the food can taste the refrigerator on it and you can tell the sea weed they use to wrap is of low quality because its kinda plasticy. The rice doesnt stick well together like sushi rice should so it makes me think the skimp on that too. Any real sushi chef would be embarrassed to look their food--so in other words its "McSushi". The service is AWFUL. The wait persons dont have their own section so its all helter skelter. Each waitperson tries to pass the buck. The only 2 descent wait persons were this Asian guy and a Caucasian guy both with spikey hair. They seemed to know how to be courteous and descent, everyone else walked around with a look on their face like they were listening to their i-tunes. I sat there what seemed like forever waiting to order my second dish in hopes of it being better than the first. But 3 waitpersons walked right past me. Finally I stared someone down and he came and took my order and of course another person who I had never seen before presented it. When I was done I put on my jacket and held my purse and waited for someone to ask if I needed my check. The same girl who presented my meal the last time walked past me 3 times to seat new customers. She didnt even say, "Ill be with you in just a minute," nothing. I just had to sit there like an idiot. Finally I yelled, "Excuse me!" and someone finally came by to give me my check. By that time I had had it with this place. Ill never come here again. If youre looking for a wait job and youve had 6 months experience youll probably be star wait person here. If youve even been to a real sushi restaurant that serves food made with proper sushi rise and the seaweek that melts away when you taste, not plasticly like here, then you wont like this place. If your on date or with people you dont know very well stay away from this place because the awful wait staff will ruin your evening with their rudeness. But if dont mind paying $5 a plate for McSushi and dont care about rude wait persons or having to yell, "Can I have my check", and behave like your in a truck stop, then this might be the place for you. As for me, call me snob, but Im well traveled and well educated and I think I deserve better.

I went there today for lunch with a friend. We both had a sushi roll. They brought out my friends and then 40 minutes later brought out mine. I had a free ohh la la roll from the one in Riverpark with them being closed for the remodel. That was never brough out. The waitress never said she was sorry my food was so late. She brought us the bill and and just smiled. I left the free Ohh la la roll card on the table. I hope that will make a point that I will never go back to the one on Blackstone/Bullard!

I have been waiting more than 45 minutes for a roll to go when I was told itd only be a fifteen minute wait. I am a chef and in forty five minutes they couldve made a fresh batch of sushi rice, battered and fried fresh tempura and fed a full house. This is ridiculous! Not to mention Ive gotten no apology for the wait and the sushi bar is near empty. Only three groups of two. People that arrived here after me have already been fed.

Ive liked their meals there in the past but this last one I had was terrible we spent over $100 for two people the onions they cooked were still crunchy they werent even fully cooked they were still vacuuming while we were trying to eat as they were wanting to leave the food was just terrible and they gave us course after course before we can even come close to finishing one. Ill never be coming back to this restaurant again.

Good food, but pretty damn awful. Went with my girlfriend and entrees are cold, dont have the general necessities and its impossible to find help. On top of that, how is the sushi wait 40 minutes? Probably never coming here again Waited an incredible amount of time for scoop and serve miso Update: sashimi is fishy and waitress is disinterested. Hopefully this is just a bad night with them but I will avoid at all costs.

Food is great! there online menu for there website is miss leading. It says a Matt Special is $10 and dragon rolls are $11. They told me after I gathered all my Co workers money to pay for lunch that there menu is wrong that the prices have gone up... yoshinos did nothing to compensate or help in this matter. Management there is horrible she was very argumentative and had no people skills.

The cook was nice but the waitress got our order wrong twice and made us wait a ridiculous amount of time to get our drinks, not to mention her rude comment because I asked to have a spoon with my soup. I would not recommend going. Save your money for better places that you get more bang for your buck that cook in front of you as well.

Delicious! Its one of my favorite sushi places. The sushi chefs are nice and accommodating. I wish service was a little bit faster. Sometimes it feels like the waiter or waitress forgets about you, especially around lunch time. The sushi bar and dinner placement are both great. If youre having sushi Id recommend sitting at the bar.

This is always a popular place for birthdays, anniversaries, and friends getting together. The food is really good and the chefs are very talented and entertaining. The steak, calamari and shrimp are what I would recommend. The tempura is very good as well. There is a sushi bar but I cant comment on that as I have never had it.

I walked in & asked for a take-out, I was told to wait 10 mins then shell take my order. Never heard anything like this before. The place wasnt even busy, hostess wasnt busy. Its was a Wednesday. I would have understood if I had asked for a table, but take-out order, especially with place only quarter full. I wont be back.

Wasabi is water down finger scooped it and diddnt even burn my tongue. Eel was thinner then cheap bacon got small bones or something stuck in back of my throat. Tried to be romantic with my girl friend but she threw everything up and I feel horrible for taking her there. Used to love when I was a kid

We love the Yoshinos teppan, however, last week we got there and were told to wait about 15 minutes, after 20 minutes they sat everyone that was there except us, when I asked I was told in a very rude way I was next, food is good service sucks! Also the people that answers the phone is terrible!

Worth our hour drive every time! Great food, classic atmosphere, and awesome staff. Cant go wrong coming here. During less busy times they pay special attention to you and will even custom make a roll for you. I have been coming here for years and can honestly say they havent failed me once!
