My new "Go To" eats when visiting Fresno! First time at the DOY Grill in Fresno, first time at any DOY Grill for that matter. We were impressed. Clean restaurant, super friendly, helpful service and eager to please, but the food was awesome. My wife ordered the DOY UNO with one each chicken & beef kebab, half Bulgur Pilaf half Rice Pilaf topped with Garbanzo beans for 9.95. I ordered the DOY DUO and got the same things as my wife but additionally the Eggplant Moussaka for 13.95. Both meals came with bread, Salad, and one piece of baklava. We purchased a side of Humas. The humas was not as creamy as I am used too but we both agreed the chicken and beef Kebabs were cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful they were awesome! The Moussaka was so good it was hard not to eat until I was over stuffed. Regardless we both only ate half our meals and took the rest to go and we were both still over stuffed. I only travel to Fresno a few times a month but this place will be my “Go To” eats from now one.

I have become a huge fan of this place since my first visit. The food here is delicious and so reasonably priced. Everytime Im in the river park area, I stop here. The flavor of their Bulgar pilaf is perfect every time Ive been here. You can taste the peppers in every bite. The salad is so flavorful I buy an extra side of salad each time I come, just to have some for the next day. All the staff is friendly and the dining area has been clean and newest every time Ive been here. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mediterranean flavors, it wont disappoint. Note: I have never tried the Clovis location, only the Fresno River park location.

At first I was skeptical about what Im going to get but when I saw the food and knew whats going into my plate and the amount of food for the price...I liked it . On top of the good quantity of food i was super pleased and happy to choose this restaurant to eat our lunch in a long long journey. ..we got deliciously fresh cooked food and very very customer oriented owner. We will be coming next year and will surely bring the whole troop to this place to eat. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes fresh home cooked food over fast food. Its so healthy and yummy food.

Doy Grill is one of my favorite lunch spots! The staff is very friendly and the Owner is always walking around chatting with the guests, thanking them for coming in. The food is consistently great and the portions are huge. The plates even come with a bite size pieces of baklava...yum! I always get two meals out of a single item meal :) With so many eateries in Fresno, its nice to have places to count on for a great overall experience. I highly recommend swinging through here for a nice quick sit down lunch or dinner or event togo...youll become hooked too!

Theres just no nice way to put it... This place is horrible! I suspect all the "Great" reviews are from friends and family of the owner. Beef kabab was dry, Garlic chicken was dry (even though it was soaked in juice), pilaf was flavorless, and the humus was a dry thick grainy paste! Even the baklava was a greasy mess! Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. i.e. The Mediterranean Restaurant, The Mediterranean Grill, or Churrasco Grill.

I have never done a restaurant review but for this place, I really wanted to. As we walked through the door, we were greeted with genuine customer appreciation. The servings were huge and the food wonderfully tasting. Outstanding. The freshness and quality evident. No impact on my wifes blood sugars which confirmed the quality of the ingredients they use. DOY Grill made our short list of places to go

This place is amazing!! Great Mediterranean food with an awesome value!! I got the doy uno: Generous scoop(s) of rice pilaf or bulgur, grilled chicken kebab, lamb/beef kebab, salad, garloc sauce, titziki sauce, pita bread, and a small pice of baklava. So much food for such an awesome price! Love it!

Food is fresh and delicious, portions are huge for a good price! I had the Vegetarian Eggplant Moussaka and it was so savory and satisfying. Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. Its a new location of an already successful restaurant from clovis. Glad they are on this side of town :)

Delicious food! Generous amount of food and the lunch special price is excellent (I wont post the price since it states "limited time"). The salad was really good and Id you are looking for a healthy option they have that too where its just salad and the kebabs of your choice.

If you havent eaten here Go NOW. The food is great and the owner and staff are great people. You wont go away hungry and they dont mind if you sit awhile and chat with your companions. It is healthy food made fresh and served on the spot as you order for a great price.

Tasty and healthy food at a convenient location. You can get chicken or beef and lamb kebabs with salad or rice pilaf. Theres a few other options as well. The staff is super nice and very helpful. I would recommend.
