I tried this place because they were offering a free burger if you signed up on their email list. The burger was okay, it wouldnt be my first choice to go to when Im craving. Its char broiled, not really my preference, but for what it is, they make it well. I like the all you can use condiments bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter dopped her burger and they replaced it without issue. The location is great, theres a theater and shopping areas. I, personally would choose another place over the Habit but if you want a burger, they dont disappoint.

This is one of the best burger places in California, and you can tell that by the number of joints they have here. I love their mushroom char and club sandwich. They are filling and tasty, without leaving you with a heavy tummy. You can swap a side of french fries with green bean tempura! I love their pacific commons location, the staff is friendly and the service is fast. Great joint for getting a quick bite between meetings or during lunch!

Friendly service.. simple and clean even though it was very crowded. Quite small actually, and could easily do with a little more elbow space. The burger was very juicy and tasty. The fries were super crisp and just right.. quantity of food was ample and generous.. lots of condiments on display for consumption. The ladies bathroom could be better maintained, according to my wife who used the facility.

Great food, I always describe it as In-N-Out with more verity. Out of 2 in the bay area(other one in Sunnyvale) this one is usually cleaner and friendlier staff. *they changed the mushroom char to portobello char which is not quite the same! *their double double is just normal burger not option of making anything on the menu 2 patty, so what ever changes you make, considered as add-on.

Its hard to mess up a burger and everyone has cooked their own at home. This was my first time and I was not impressed. The bun was not toasted it was burnt and the fries were over cooked. The hamburger patty tasted like a frozen patty so where was the quality standard there. The cost of the meal is why I gave it two stars but you have better burger options in the area.

Really negative experiennce today. I was with a party of three and had to leave a table for four for a party of one. He complained so the cashier threatened me. I went ahead and moved to another table for four that openned up. More training is needed for what looked be a new employee. This was the most poorly managed Habit I have been to.

Not the first time the online ordering system screwed me over. Credit card was charged without a problem and I came to the store without my order in the system. Lunch hour is cut short and I dont have time to go anywhere else, ended up having to wait in line to order the same thing again. Multiple terrible experience.

I actually really love The Habit. I never usually eat it though, but the burgers and their side caesar salads are really good. I really love how they hand out buzzers while youre waiting because it just makes life so much easier than calling out a name.

The food is great, but watch out for the service. They are so busy, and changes are they will get your order wrong. They wont be sorry about it either. Its your fault that they get your order wrong. I give 4 start for the food, 1 for the service.

Pretty similar to In-n-Out, I think. One big plus if you have an EV is that theres a ChargePoint charger in the Target parking lot at the back, currently free for the 1st hour (then $2/hr afterward, presumably to force turnover).

Extremely small, when its busy there is no where to sit. Other than that its delicious, I love the Santa Barbara burger. Customer service is great too. Just wish it was a little bigger, Im sure the employees do too.

I love Habit. The menu has more than just a burger and they have plus it up over In and Out. Try the tempura green beans. They have half the calories of the fries. I also love the buck soft-serve cone!

Bit busy some nights but they have outdoor seating that is heated. They serve large soft serve ice cream which you can pick up after you finish with your main meal. Staff is fast and courteous.
