I REALLY love this place. Its the epitome of a community coffee house. Every Friday they have karaoke night. Every Saturday they have a themed event going on. If you happen yourself on a day where they have an event, you will see the whole community come out. FOOD: they have very decent SAVORY snacks. Which is saying a lot considering most coffee places just serve pastries or cold sandwiches. They have a great curry wrap. The wrapping itself is in a tortilla and its not the prettiest wrapping, but oh man their filling was so good! Their pastries change daily so its never boring. Their tiramisu is to DIE FOR! So good! They also have really delicious local ice cream served here too. COFFEE: the coffee prices here are very affordable in varying sizes. and they do latte art PARKING: ok their parking lot is dinky. and is ALWAYS full. but you can street park. or park at the Amtrak parking lot thats not too far away. SPACE: this place is great if you want to casually meet up with someone or if you want to study. They have 2 floors. The top floor is a loft style with a bunch of tables and chairs. perfect for studying. the ground floor is a mix of tables and individual sofas. what i love about SlapFace is the fact that they have little room good for about 6-8 people with individual sofas, tables, and outlets that you can reserve, otherwise its first come first serve. perfect for group studying or children play date meetups. i totally recommend checking this place out. staff is super friendly. the space is really inviting. overall great local spot

Theres a million teenagers in this little coffee shop. Great if you are a teenager I suppose. I am glad they have a place to hang out that is well lit and relatively save but I doubt I could spend too much time there myself. Karaoke night gets pretty loud but thats not unusual for that sort of thing. My lady had some tea that she enjoyed and I liked my shake but they are seriously understaffed. The kids running the place were very nice but took forever to sell me a few water bottles because they were busy making things. They really should have one dedicated cashier and the rest focused on filling orders.

Went there to finish up some work for the day. The baristas were pretty nice. I got the Rwanda coffee. It tasted like Rwanda, but it seemed a bit flat. The WiFi was a struggle to connect to and and slow once connected. The building is pretty cool. There is a balcony and rooms (one is a safe) for working in. The atmosphere was pretty loud as the noise carried over the balcony area to below. Overall, I would say that it might be a nice place to visit if youre not too picky about your coffee or noise. But I think Ill be going elsewhere for work and study.

I had the Honduran coffee. Service is slow and the coffee was luke warm. Taste was average. I went on comedy night but left after the second set. Comedians were too ronchy for my taste and some of their interaction with the audience was very inappropriate. Love the ambience and layout so Ill go again to see if it was just a bad night for them. Maybe Ill go on karaoke open mic night.

You have to visit this coffee place just for the décor. The shop was previously a bank and its really cool how they have used the space. I had a regular black coffee which was good. But they have a variety of drinks to try. They must also be hosting some kind of live events. They have a conference room if you want to a corporate meeting without the boardroom pretense.

Amazing place! Love the coconut voodoo, the conference room upstairs helps me finish my assignment. Feels like home. The band playing at 7:30 pm I think is very good. Customer service is good, I cant complain. There is a restroom adjacent to the conference room that is so accessible if you are over caffeinated which is usually the case when I do my assignment.

Been here twice now since its opening, and the experience has been great actually! The service is outstanding and so is the coffee. The lay out of the cafe is interesting in every turn, espicially the masks, the murals, and the vault. Coffee is pour over, they serve espresso, and ice cream. Would definitely come back and recomend it to friends!!!

I have been regular to the coffee shop for the past several weeks and love this place. The coffee is awesome and the baristas are nice. Brianna, my morning barista often goes out of her way to make sure that the coffee tests best. The place has internet connection, nice decor. if you go there, make sure you try the coconut mocha. Its awesome!

They have tired to make it off beat but havent really done it completely. Looks like an office space converted into a cafe. There are random painting with scary figures around with a bank safe and dead roses , didnt really add up for me. The coffee was okay, ntn out of ordinary

Its a converted bank building and one of the private rooms is inside a back vault. I was surprised that they still have the menu printed on paper thats partially torn on the counter. Why couldnt they afford to have the menu on the wall like Starbucks and Peets?

Off-beat coffee shop with pretty nice staff. The coffee is OK, same with the food. The layout is a little less than welcoming but also OK. The parking lot is terribly small. So far it seems the best alternative coffee house available in the area.

This is a wonderful place to have great coffee, enjoy lunch, bring the dog and sit outside. The staff are a fun loving group, always smiling and laughing. Plenty of seating for all size groups, parking is adequate.

Great coffee and atmosphere. Used to be a bank and kept most of its original layout. Regular live music events. A local gem. Piroshkis served here adds uniqueness to the typical cafe pastry line up.

Great pour over coffee, great atmosphere. Building used to be a bank so the vault and conference rooms now have sofas and tables so you can chill there. Lots of open space with plenty of seating.

Brought the kids for ice cream. I had the affogato, which was excellent. Im not into the style of the place, but I can see how others would appreciate it. Not exactly family friendly, though.

The place is good, lot of space. The only thing I feel they can improve is the ambience. I feel the white and the yellow lights dont go well with each other and just ruins the feel for me.

This place is amazing! So much space to study with plenty of outlets for everyone to charge whatever device they have. Two stories of awesome! Even have a conference room.

Lovely little place with lots of seating and unusual (but fun!) themed rooms. Can get a little loud sometimes but the staff is also fab, friendly and helpful.

A nice relaxing place for tea and coffee, and they also have musical events all the time. Except for the snotty guy behind the counter, the service is great.

Nice place to study. Baked goods. Red velvet lattes. There is also an upper level if you prefer more privacy. They also carry and use Chromatic beans only.
