Café Rio has become a regular place for our team to eat lunch. We go here just about every day and the staff always greets us with a smile! On Tuesdays you can get a salad or a burrito for only 5.99 and if you want to add a drink & chips it’s only $2 extra. I recommend the sweet pork salad with the house dressing and tortillas on the side! If you love tortillas as much as I do you HAVE to try Café Rio! They make the tortillas fresh, on site, every day and you can watch them being made while you wait in line. Make sure you download the Café Rio app because every dollar you spend is a point towards a free $10 off. You can also order on the app, load gift cards, and it updates you on all of their BOGO deals! There are only 2 of these restaurants in the entire state of California. Don’t miss out!

Food was very good but I had issues with the noise level. Im in my 50s and have trouble hearing in areas with noisy backgrounds. During my order the entire staff broke into some kitschy theme song that I could have done without. Sorry but after a long day at work, I just want a little food without all the hoopla. With all the noise I made my order and when I went to check out, I had double the food I ordered. I couldnt hear them and I guess they didnt hear me. I thought the order looked big and the price was too high until I realized what happened. Oh well, I have lunch for tomorrow. Again the food was very good, good portions for the price. Ill just make a point of ordering ahead and taking it home.

Our family loves Cafe Rio. First off, the food is always fantastic. Whether we get a salad or burrito, its always great. Usually, I share a salad with my wife - plenty of food to share. Been going to Cafe Rio for over 15 years - ever since we were living in Provo. So happy to have a location in Sacramento. The only thing thing this location needs is one more person helping in the line. Also, if anyone remembers the Provo location back in the day, youll remember how fast that line moved and much fun the workers made it. That would be great to see here.

I went here for the fideo special today. I have had it before but todays visit was not a good one. The portion size was tiny and they gave us a hard time about requesting beans or rice or something to make this dish more filling. It was half sauce half noodles. Definitely not worth the price. On top of that we decided to go meatless and were still charged the same price. They are not vegetarian/vegan friendly. They could have at least offered guac or more veggies but it was more of a bother for them. Definitely will go to Chipotle from now on.

I love Cafe Rio, used to frequent the ones in utah. I admit there is something different about the one here as compared to the ones I went to in Utah. But overall they did a really nice job on the place. Everything is very clean. As always the food is really really fresh. I love the sweet pork! And I have already earned enough rewards points for a free meal so Ill be headed there again soon

I was disappointed in the salad tonight. They gave me a tortilla that was already sitting in a foil dish. It was already heated with the cheese melted. It tasted old when I ate it! On my previous visit it was yummy and soft and fresh. They had cooked it to order.I am also disappointed in the queso and chips. The queso was old! Not creamy whatsoever! It was a dark color, too!

Cafe Rio is hands down the best place in town to eat. The people are friendly, the environment is great, the food is awesome, and there are HUGE portions. The staff are very friendly and very willing to correct any mistakes they have made. Cafe Rio is very clean and well maintained.

The food is amazing. Best ever. The service and speed of employees not so much. Luckily for them, its the only one in the area so you put up with it to enjoy yummy food. Maybe someday management will hire speedy and more competent staff.

Beats out Chipotle, Costa Vida, Freebirds by A LANDSLIDE. The quality cant be beat. And the feel of the restaurant is pretty cool too. Dont tell too many people, because then the lines will get WAY long. This place is a must.

First time visit to this restaurant friendly people, good service, nice atmosphere, but the burrito was not to my liking. Chipolte In my opinion puts out a much better and tastier product, with the same kind of service.
