I had told the employee how I had called earlier to check the price before I went in. No one there is on the same page with the pricing. How is one employee gonna tell the customer one price and then you get a call from another employee and its completely different?!? And to top it off they cant even make the cake I wanted they wanted me to settle for some cake I didnt even want! And there excuse was we have other cakes that we need to make...after I had put my order in...what! is everyone else a priority and im not? Huh! And I didnt want my cake till Sunday afternoon!! I placed my order in friday!! And you guys said you only need 2 days in advance! Then when I cancel my order you tell me how I need to tell you earlier?!? WTF totally ridiculous!! The pricing as well it went from $75-$100 for a medium sized cake that Safeway makes for $35 OMFG! I will never place a cake order there ever!! F*** this place!!!

I was met by the most rude young girl this morning who argued with me about what I should do with myself if Im on a budget, which I am not. I asked for a cup of hot water and she rudely tells me things I do not want to hear first thing in the morning. If they supplied chai "hot tea," I would order that but they dont have it, Ramones forces Chai Lattes on you, so I brought my own Chai tea bag. I also ordered a meal and another drink. Worst attitude of a Ramones employee ever. If you dont like your job, quit, get another one, something! Dont argue with customers. 0 stars today !!! otherwise ramones is at least a 3 star (cafe by hospitals in Eureka)

Ive only been here one time as I was passing through town, but the black iced tea was perfect and the BLT was the best Ive ever had. It was on a thinly sliced sourdough that was so as airy I thought at first the crust had been cut off, one side buttered, the other with a bit of mayo-but not too much. Tomatoes were piled high... I could go on. Someone really thought about what makes a good BLT. The atmosphere was nice and the staff seemed friendly. I was surprised that there were so many people there on a Tuesday afternoon, but we had no trouble getting a seat. Im definitely going to stop by again the next time Im in Eureka.

We ordered our wedding cake from Ramones, we flew out from Colorado to get married at Moonstone Beach, so we did everything online and over the phone. We werent able to make it out for any tastings so we just ordered off the menu. For our design we gave them a basic idea of what we wanted & let them take it from there. We didnt see the cake until our wedding day & it was perfect, exactly what we wanted, and as an added bonus it was super tasty! I would definitely recommend them for any cake!

I go here often on my walks with my toddler. They always have a smile, even when they are jam packed and busy. Prices are about what youd expect, and the food it delicious. I mean its awesome compared to what you can get for a similar price and timeframe. Im very happy to have them as my "local coffee shop". This is all lunch and earlier, Im talking about. Ive never had dinner there, but it seems like it would be wonderful.

Wow ! At several of Ramones locations you can get unique gourmet soup or a wonderful salad a for lunch, not to mention a full dinner on the Harrison St. spot served in the evening There bar has unique beers, wines and ciders. It has great original baked goods at all 4 locations. My favorite is the flourless cake /tort with raspberries. We get the small one because it is so rich for our familys birthdays.

This cafe is my favorite in all of Humboldt and they serve very delicious healthy food. The only downside is that they dont have many vegan options. They definitely will accommodate for you if you order something made vegan, how ever at that point the dish is half gone when you take our any dairy or even meat. Just wish they served more veggies! But besides that I think Ramones is great for anyone who isnt vegan!

My favorite place to eat in Eureka. It is a bakery/coffee shop/bistro...very European, comfortable, casual. Espresso, fine wine, beer on tap, sandwiches, personal pizzas, salads, small plates, entrees, specials, fresh bread. Creative and fun menu. Order at the counter or grab a table inside or out on the patio.

Lots of yummy stuff, but very expensive, you just cannot resist. After indulging in all your guilty pleasures by buying one of almost everything, you end up feeling really bad for spending so much. They need to up the size of the sandwiches, they are tasty and too small for the price.
