After coming in and standing in line for 20 minutes and ordering a marionberry scone -- making small talk with the seemingly-friendly lady taking my order on this busy Sunday morning -- I sat down to eat my scone when it fell on the ground without me even getting a bite. I got up to alert the lady that there was a big scone mess on their floor, when she blankly stared at me and said very rudely, "what do you want me to do about it?" After telling her that I needed some napkins to clean it up, she dismissively pointed to a pile of napkins nearby. I gave her a strange look, surprised by how rude she was being, and she carelessly said, still giving me attitude, "we will clean it up." Safe to say I will never step foot into this place again. Which is disappointing because of how charming the atmosphere is.

As I read the various reviews, I have to wonder whether I went to the same restaurant as the other reviewers. My experience at Pacific Way Cafe was in no way "wonderful," "great" or "the best". Our waitress was rude and condescending. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came brown all the way through. My husband ordered the lamb and couldnt eat half of it because it was so fatty. Our bill was $100 for the two of us, which I am happy to pay if I feel like I get what I pay for---but in this case I couldve gotten better food and service for 1/4 of the cost at the greasy spoon restaurant down the street. My advice is to save yourself the grief and go to the Twisted Fish in Seaside. They know how to cook AND their staff is wonderful.

We had a group of 6 (4 adults / 2 young children) and came here during spring break. Reservations are highly recommended as this place is pretty intimate and seems to be the only upscale restaurant in the area. The staff is always extremely friendly and our server this time was very accommodating of our children, bringing them crayons and paper and making sure their food came out quickly. I highly recommend the snow shoe crab pizza as an appetizer - its fantastic! I had the rib eye which was cooked to perfection - the best steak Ive had in a long time. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a bakery attached which is open mornings with amazing pastries! If youre on the northern Oregon coast, this is the place to come.

This place was recommend to us by a local 2 years ago and we went twice in one weekend!! This was our first time back to the area again and it was at the top of our priority list! From the start with a selection of delicious homemade breads and a salad with their have - to - try house Garganzola dressing!! To the large and mouth watering mains (I recommend the Pacific Way Cioppino*spelling?) or any really!! Down to the homemade ice cream and desserts, made daily by the owner!! The staff is great too, Noel was the best server I have had in a long time!! Must try!!!

This is for the cafe, (and Google is currently showing incorrect opening time- the bakery closes at 1pm, the cafe has typical restaurant hours). Great service, great food generous portions in a homely, comfortable environment. The haddock and steak were both excellent and my daughter, a connoisseur of clam chowder rated their efforts very highly. Clean and friendly, and reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of food, a welcome and unexpected surprise at this small coastal town.

I have been coming to the Oregon Coast for the past 15 years. I really love the baked goods at bakery but they have lousy customer service and horrible coffee. The lattes and mochas are so hot you cant enjoy it for an hour, and the ingredients they use are second rate. Thank God for Starbucks in Warrenton. Improve your coffee and the snotty attitude and you might just have the best bakery on the coast.

We stopped by at 11:00 am and there was absolutely no baking left except a few muffins and cookies. We were pretty disappointed. The coffee was alright, but not fantastic. The decor is cute and welcoming, but the staff were not incredibly friendly. We did not go in the cafe as we were headed out of town. I would give it another go at an earlier time, but we probably wont be in the area for a while.

We spent $100 on 2 adults and 2 kids for dinner. The cheeseburger came out like a charred hocky puck, but the crab cake was very good and the clam chowder was the best we have ever had. Not exaggerating. The clientele tends to be on the older side, perhaps vacation home owners in the area. But we figured they know the quality stops around there, and we were right. Overall, highly recommended.

Been visiting family living in Gearhart for years. This place is cute and they have amazing food (love the almond croissants)! BUT Horribly burnt coffee, it has been this way for years. Always made by the owner. Nice guy, but makes bad coffee. Please please fix.

This is for the cafe, didnt visit the bakery. The menus were hard to look at, the pizza had about 36oz of vegetable topping on a 14" base. I loved the crust though and service was great once someone eventually seated us.

Been going here for 10 years. Was pretty good until 3 or 4 years ago when they got a new chef, and now it is wonderful. Dinner at the Pacific way cafe leaves me In a state of bliss. One of my favorites ANYWHERE.

The service was excellent, very nice and my coffee was always full. The French dip panini was spot on I definitely recommend. They had a very tasty au jus sauce. Also their pastrami was very delicious.

The service was great, but the food was mediocre, especially for the price. We ordered the cioppino and while the portion was huge, the fish was only okay and the soup base didnt have much flavour.

Great food, reasonable prices, and a quirky yet elegant atmosphere. The staff was really nice and the bread they serve before the meal was amazing. I highly recommend stopping by
