So my mom decided she wanted to eat here and it was so strange. The asian girl immediately took my order and I got the steak and scrambled eggs with side potatoes. As We sat down, we noticed, there was nothing on the table. You have to ask for utensils, napkins. My mom ordered tea, they handed it to her still no spoon, sugar packets or cream. Again no napkins. What was strange was peoples plates who left before us had tons of food, still sitting on the tables that they had left behind and then I understood why. The lady brings my food and I noticed eggs were runny and the potatoes were on the plate. I asked for it separately because my mom is a vegan and wanted to eat some. The lady did offer to put it in a separate plate, but my mom declined because all they were going to do was take potatoes and put it in a dish when the eggs and steaks had touched it. I asked for scrambled, the eggs were so nasty, no flavor at all, runny. There was no flavor to ANYTHING. So much FAT on the steak, the eggs nasty, I asked for scrambled, they gave me over easy. The roasted potatoes were extremely dry, it tasted reheated. No salt or pepper even on anything on our plates. I ended up leaving half of my food just like the others. The steak was so tough it bent the fork. Worst spent $30 meal I ever had. See pictures for proof.

I cant believe Im just barely finding out about this cafe restaurant. Lunch here was fantastic! It can get kinda crowded, but tables become avaliable pretty quick. We waited about 10 minutes , which gives you enough time to look at the menu and decide what you want before you sit down. Other restaurants that Ive been too, Dennys for example, doesnt have a menu displayed at the front. The service was great and the food was even better. I recommend the philly cheese steak and chicken philly because they are so delicious. The bread is crunchy and the meat is perfectly marinated. To top it off you get to choose between a side of fries, sweet potatoes or a serving of fruit. For my drink, I had to go with fresh squeezed orange juice. They literally serve the best homemade orange juice that Ive ever tasted. Overall this cafe has everything you need to leave you satisfied with no dissapointments. Emery Bay Cafe deserves 5 stars.

Needed a place to have a /real/ breakfast while my favorite uncle was in an all-morning surgery. This couldnt have been a better choice with actual homestyle food and the most laid back dining area of any place since the Andy Griffith Show was on TV. The croissant-wich was incredible, and the country fried potatoes arrived with real fresh herbs. You can bet Ill be back.

I went here because Dennys had a line out the door. Walking in we were instantly greeted by the cashier kitchen desk that wed be seated shortly. The bus boy sat us with a smile and the sever greeted us promptly. Food was tasty and well priced. Im pretty sure its a family run business so very cozy and friendly. Definitely coming here again!

The menu is confusing as pork chops is priced as $6 but this is in addition to the base price of 2 eggs so the actual price is $13. The restroom is located outside. Probably not a fair review as I did not eat there and went to Dennys across the street.

This is more of a diner than a cafe. But long live the diner! Consistent breakfast and prices. No thrills here. Know what to expect and this place will whelm you in the best way. Yes, whelm. You will neither be over or underwhelmed by this place.

This diner style cafe offers a variety of great breakfast options. Reasonable prices and an easy place to pop in and grab a bite to go. Always friendly service whenever I go here. My favorite go-to here is the bagel sandwich with ham & cheese.

Great little gem for breakfast and brunch in Emeryville. Doesnt look like much from the outside but the food is good and reasonably priced. Great alternative to Dennys or the Black Bear Dinner close by.

The food was substandard. If you count kraft singles as cheese then you will love the cheese omelette. No joke this was the worst breakfast I have had in a long time. Service was good
