Wescafe is a great, family owned and operated neighborhood cafe and diner serving coffee, tea, smoothies, breakfast, pastries, sandwiches and more. They also offer a special weekend breakfast/brunch menu and beer garden menu. I highly recommend the Chorizo Breakfast Sandwich with arugula and refried beans. Or the Granola Fruit Yogurt. The coffee and smoothies are consistently good. The fruits and veggies are always fresh and sometimes come straight from the farmers market around the corner. Plenty of seating and tables inside, as well as in the front. They also have a cool little back patio area complete with a fountain and shaded areas. The WiFi is pretty solid and there are plenty of outlets to plug into inside. This place isnt like other pretentious Bay Area coffee shops and has the cool, lively ambiance of a train station.

Wescafe youre a solid little coffee shop When Im in the area Im sure to stop And get a drink and something to eat Because your diverse selection is pretty neat Youre more like a restaurant with your choices But you have cafe white noise that are filled with voices All in all I like your style And youre around cool other shops in a one block mile Like this cafe, as they got the standard cafe drinks as well as a good selection of sandwiches. More than anything I like the ambiance. The tables are many and have good distance between them, and your wifi is solid and the atmosphere is cool.

I love this place. It has great coffee, an almost complete breakfast menu, and nice staff. When I say "almost complete" I mean that they have fruit, muffins, crouson, cereal, and breakfast burritos but they dont have eggs with hash browns, omelets, or pan cakes. I particularly like that it is locally owned and operated. The prices are reasonable. There is outdoor seating if you like, and plenty of indoor seating.

It was good. I wish that the menu was more descriptive (hence only 4 stars). I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, and it was only chorizo, egg, beans and sour cream. Was not expecting that. Traditionally breakfast burritos have peppers, potatoes, onions, and egg with a meat choice. The burrito was tasty, and my coffee was put into a fancy glass because I ate there.

Great food and service. Friendly staff. Good value for money. I especially like their Mexican mochas. This one of my regular haunts fir a breakfast or lunch bite as well as a caffeine re-charge. When the weather is nice, the back terrace is nice for sitting and reading while enjoying am iced coffee

I stood at the counter for several minutes wanting to order. It was not busy but the staff kept their backs turned. One saw me and pointed me out to the other but nothing happened. I just walked out after a few minutes. Ordering a coffee should not take that long.

A quality experience starting with morning latte, coffee, through breakfast & fresh lunch selections. Staff are terrific, back patio provides a fresh space (esp. If you have small kids), free WiFi, just ask! Bring back dinner on weekends please?

This one of my favorite places to have coffee in Alameda. I enjoyed the environment there and the service is something special, the staff is bilingual Spanish- English and that makes it extra cool for me.
