Im ashamed -- Ive been here at least 10-15 times and Ive never reviewed it! Dont take it that way, TC (were on initial-name-basis at this point). This is one of the best restaurants in Elk Grove, and even Sacramento. EG got lucky on this one. With great food, fast service, and good prices.... You cant eat here enough! Atmosphere: 4/5 -- This is nice place, situated on a usually busy Elk Grove strip mall. Parking in front is uncommon, but theres plenty of places a little further away; no worries. -- The restaurant itself is a modern. The layout inside a little unorthodox; when you walk in theres the main dining area and two tiny benches for waiting. Then theres the kitchen in the middle of the room, with another smaller dining area all the way to the left. Its never really used, and its just awkward. The dining area is considerably small. -- But other than that, the inside is fine. They even have good music playing, which is unusual nowadays. Its quiet and unobtrusive. Ive heard Nujabes playing once or twice! Service: 3.5/5 -- Service here is hit and miss sometimes, actually. Theyre always polite, but sometimes understaffed (during busy hours). -- My girlfriend tried calming down two dishes once, and nothing was changed. They mightve actually made it spicier, come to think of it... We had so much cold water because of it. -- During busy dinner hours, it CAN be slow. Even pickup orders. And because its smaller, you might have to wait a little. Try to come during slower hours to take advantage of the service! Food: 5/5 -- The food is delicious. Ive had lots of their dishes, and never really been disappointed. Their drunken noodles are delicious, along with their pineapple fried rice...oh man. -- Other delicious dishes are their duck fried rice, combination BBQ platter (its called something like that), Tom Yum, and various vegetable dishes are always great. -- Their desserts are great too, from their mango/sticky rice and fried ice cream...yes. Price: 4.25/5 -- This place always has fair prices, and weve usually been able to keep a meal for 2 between $20-$28. -- I wish they had lunch specials... The best Elk Grove has to offer! Definitely food to be proud of, no matter the city.

Okay, a few things you should know about this place: its not authentic Thai food, staffs do play favoritism to their friends, their "spicy" level is not spicy, and generally speaking, theyre always busy during dinner time. After eating 90% of their menu, I would only come back for their curry and dessert. The other items are not good. Theyre decent, but Ive had better. For example, their Tom yum soup tasted like package seasoning diluted with chicken broth and the seafood came from frozen packages. Save yourself and dont order it until theyve changed their cooking technique. However, I will give them kudos for their desserts. Theyre all reasonably priced and portioned.

The thai tea was really good, not overly sweet like some other places. We ordered 6 dishes and the only one we really liked was the sliced beef salad. The other dishes: dragon noodle, shrimp eggplant (seafood but I opted for shrimp only) , cashew chicken &and shrimp, golden bag, and pineapple fried rice were ok. The sauces on the cashew chicken & shrimp and shrimp eggplant were runny. The sauce didnt stick to the chicken, shrimp, or veges so when I ate (even after I dipped in the sauce), I didnt get as much flavor as I wanted. Wish the sauce was cooked down more to carmelize the sauce. We will come back to order their salad and Thai tea.

One of the few favorite Thai restaurants that I visit quite often. They have really great service and the ambiance of the restaurant in its entirety makes it a great place to enjoy the entire Thai experience. This is a very busy restaurant, but definitely worth the wait once you sit down and enjoy the food. The fried tofu is a must have if you really want to enjoy some tofu that is truly fried and not soggy or squishy in the middle as like many other places I have visited. Pretty much everything off the menu is a great experience that will send your taste buds wanting more and soon youll be a regular.

Yesterday, we ordered the food for my moms birthday. We ordered several chicken and veggie dishes. The food was terrible. One of my favorite dish at the restaurant was eggplant. They placed few pieces of eggplant and random veggies. I have a feeling, eggplant is expensive so they tried compensating with other veggies instead of increasing the price. All the dishes lacked favors. I know in past this place was the best restaurant in town. After the expansion they have definitely lost their good quality. Not sure if I want to go back again.

Thai Chili is our go to place here in Elk Grove. The place is cozy (although they have expanded) and the staff are always great. The food is always delicious and can feed several Family members. We always have enough left over for another meal or to take to work the next day. There is something for everyone in the Family. Since we went pescaterian 2 years ago and I cannot eat peanuts they always accommodate our requests to modify our dishes.

Food is very, very good. Try the fried flatbread and yellow curry - I have not seen it on many Thai restaurant menus and I love it. Another notable item is the hot tea, a blend of Jasmine and Thai tea, I believe. Its excellent with a bit of sugar stirred in. The restaurant layout is a bit strange with the kitchen dividing the seating areas, but the food makes this my favorite Thai restaurant in the greater Sacramento area.

Called and got a guy I couldnt understand. I asked for larb (a thai dish) and this guy was like what? Put me on hold and I can hear him talking in the background, another guy got on the phone and had to translate for me. Made my order, went to pick up my order and immediately was disappointed when I saw the sized of my dish for the price. Wasnt even authentic larb. Taste was okay compared to what I usually get.

It is more of an American-ized Thai restaurant. That is a good thing and a bad thing. Its good because you get a nice amount of the food and it is pretty decent. Its bad because it isnt as spicy as Thai food should be and they dont have traditional spices to go along with them. I would eat there again, but Ill bring my own crushed dried pepper next time.

Well service, otherwise food wise was disgusting. The Pad Thai tasted like a fresh dead chicken being boiled into water to be plucked, the spicy noodle plate i couldve made that myself but with more flavor n less oil, the chicken laab salad was just too sour. The only great thing was the coconut ice cream dessert which i enjoyed but sadly unsatified!

We have been to many resturants in Elk Grove. I have lived here 5 years. I learned to love thai food at this resturant. The great people at thai chili always pop in my mind when i am thinking of going out for food. Hard workers, Great food, and fair prices. I recomend trying them out, and if you have been here, you already know how great it is.

Excellent Food!! Have been to many restaurants here and in the bay area and must say that this is the best Thai food I have ever had. The service was excellent. Very friendly atmosphere. My two small children were very happy and loved the food so much they cleaned their plates. Definitely going to be a regular dining experience for us.
