Had to wait forever for my food. They usually are never quick and I dont mind a small wait because the food is usually prepared when you order it and is fresh! However, they shouldnt give u a buzzer that goes off and when you go to pick your food up its not ready. (I wasnt the only one they did this too and the others didnt look happy!) Why have a buzzer??? Not to mention they were out of a few things, vitamin water, salsa bar was sparse (and messy) and when another customer asked for something (at the salsa bar) I heard the gal say or no, we dont have anymore. My son really likes this place and I do too but I dont know how many chances Im willing to give them if they dont step it up. (So, far we eat here at least once a week). There have also been issues at the drive thru along with the long wait time, Ive gotten home on 2 separate times with the wrong food or no salsa!! I hope they get it together soon!!

The chicken was dry and not well seasoned. I dont know if the cook just a bad day or what. The cashier messed up my order. So when I got home and called them to verify what I was being charged for. The manager was very professional and wanted to rectify the problem. But I was across town and didnt feel like driving back to the store. But I thanked him for his understanding. Yes its been a while since Ive been to El Pollo Loco on Elk Grove Florin Road. I remember back when it first opened up this place was busy and the food was really good. You couldnt fine a parking space or fine a seat inside The food was very tasty and well seasoned. I know this is a tough review but I want you guys to get back on track. Because I love chicken.

How do you mess up rolling a burrito? How high are these people that work here? Half my burrito fell into my lap after tearing the top of the tinfoil off. They put FULL avocado slices on TOP of my burrito and NONE in the burrito. This is the 2nd time Ive had a problem with this El pollo loco, they have TERRIBLE cooks that think its a joke to mess with peoples food. Ive even called El Pollo LOCO coorperate about it and they NEVER care to investigate. They lie on Google reviews because it makes them look better. These people dont care, and Ill no longer go to El Pollo Loco again in my life. $9 for a burrito? Ill head over to Chipotle. Thanks.

The worst service ever. I ordered a double chicken salad with no corn or sour cream with avocados on the side. I get home salad covered with corn and sour cream and no avocados at all. Looked at my receipt it stated exactly what I ordered. In addition the counter was nasty with spills from condiments. Went back with the salad and the manager had one of the crew person to speak with me instead of coming over to handle the problem. She was really unprofessional and not helpful.

This is the worst location in Sacramento. They are always out of Chicken, mac&cheese. I go there a few times a week to be disappointed each time. I have know choice to go here because its nearby my house. If I want quality service and food I have to travel to South Sac. I just left there and the soup was broth. Ugh! At this point the district office should step in and do some quality control. Im not sure how this location is still operating.

I live right next door to the El Pollo Loco on Elk Grove Florin so I pass through often. I stop by for tostadas at lunch and usually have my order taken by one of two girls. My favorite cashier is Imani. She recognizes me when I come in (even if Im in my grubby clothes, lol). Shell ask if I want the usual tostada, which I do most of the time. When I dont get the tostada shell recommend a meal of a similar price. Love the friendliness here!

Been here couple times and every time they have forgotten to put something in my food in bag. Very irritating to get home to find out you have to turn around and go back. And when I tried calling them the phone just rang and asked for an access pass code. Great food but maybe the staff should be trained better.

The food is really good here but the service was not so great. I forgot to order a soup and was told I had to go around again through the drive thru to order it. There was nobody behind me and its the first time a drive thru told me I could not add something to my order. But hey, the food is great

Went there for dinner tonight, the chicken was hard, the rice was burnt, gave us too many uncooked tortitas and kept finding random vegetables in my mashed potatoes. Learn how to properly heat your tortitas. and worst of all, they didnt have Mac and cheese... Not very happy

Should have gone to McDonalds. The chicken was dry. Under marinated. Corn tortillas cold with in a few minutes. Will not go back. $28 for two. . salsa was great. Beans are canned .. Del taco also may be a better choice. I will grill my owen...

High quality food for fast food price. It was much better when Michael was managing the evening shift and Rachel and the "other Michael" were there. They brought a lot of life and energy to the place. The food is still good, though.

Show up today at 7:00 pm oclock they didnt have cheese,lettuce, pico de gallo raspberry iced tea and no even dr pepper order a classic salad and this was what I got. Worst pollo loco ever!

Went to have dinner and they had no cooked chicken. They told me it would be about an hour wait time. Ive been there several times and everytime they mess up. Very poor service.
