So, the deal here is that these people still bake actual bagels. By that I mean that they must be boiled then baked as they have been for several centuries. The "new" wave of "bagels", particularly Noahs, are baked in a steam oven using frozen dough from their commissaries. A one-step, foolproof process. That enables them to have the large, puffy product that, along with good marketing, brings in droves of consumers who dont know any better. My brother has been with Einstein/Noahs for quite a few years so I do know how they do it. About 25 years ago, Noah (Alper) was just starting out when he proposed his product to me when I was running the food service at California Pacific Medical Center in SF. We tried them out in the doctors lounge, and all the docs wanted to hang me. They HATED Noahs. We switched back in a hurry. I personally have had none if the problems noted elsewhere, although I never order one to eat there. I always get two dozen and bring them home.

There are many local choices in Dublin/Pleasanton, but this is my favorite. It is family owned and, until recently, even Grandpa worked, cooking the fresh bagels. Its tucked into a small strip mall so you might not find it if you didnt know it was there, but its worth the trip. This small town shop is the best and everything is fresh NOW. Great place to sit and enjoy a coffee and a bagel on a Saturday morning. Its not over-crowded or noisy either. Check it out.

The signs of Donald Trumps attitude towards latinos was proven there today, When my wife was calling her mother in Mexico for mothers day she was told to quiet down or that she was bieng loud because she was talking Spanish this a form of racism because if she would have been talking english to her mother the Manager of the bagel bakery of dublin would have said nothing. This was the last time we spend our money in this place.

This place is really not great. Their bagels are kinda meh... not that great, and they never have a good selection except when they open, and they always try to over charge (3 times have they tried to). They skimp on the cream cheese, and they dont have a clue how to make espresso. I have tried this place about ten times, then gave up. Never again will I come here.

Every time we go, we have a 4 bagel order. Rarely do they get all of them correct. I always order my daughters first because shes very picky on what she will eat. This morning they had 3 out of 4 bagels wrong. This was our last visit. Im tired of spending almost $30 on 4 bagels and drinks, and not getting what Ive ordered.

Some of the better bagels I have had since moving to the east coast. Their flavor combinations are great, particularly the jalapeno and cinnamon crunch. Be aware that their "everything" bagel has no salt, garlic or onion, and is in essence just a bagel with a variety of seeds on it.

The best bagels Ive ever had. Ive been patron for over 15 years, and they never disappoint. They always have a wide variety of bagels even in the late morning. Plus, the sandwiches are true Deli quality. There are many sandwich shops around, but nothing compares.

Gem of a place! Very attentive and when I couldnt make up my mind the associate gave me samples of the cream cheese. I appreciate businesses that go above and beyond like this. Will definitely be coming back!
