Ive only ever been here on nights out so I dont know much about anything not nightlife related but the G St Wunderbar is always one of our stops! Jager bombs are the highlight drink here, as they even have Jager on tap! In my experiences this bar is pretty packed on Friday, Saturday, and Wednesday nights but its always fun! I do think the music is too loud though!

Poor customer service. The bar tender looked unhappy to be there and didnt offer a drink or menu once I sat down. I asked him for a menu and the ordered a beer which did not taste right. I pointed it out to bar tender and he did not seem at all concerned and shrugged hs shoudlers. I immediately left and will not return.

Wunderbar is a dynamic local spot with lots to offer. They have four pool tables in the back in addition to a handful of game cabinets, a jukebox, and darts. They offer weekly events, such as their trivia hosted by Geeks Who Drink and karaoke and funk nights. The drinks and food are cheap and tasty.

A lot has changed since I last came here almost ten years ago. It retains most of its G Street griminess but the restrooms have moved, are now functional, and do not stink up half the block. Also they serve food now. I had three carnitas tacos for $5 and, while a little dry, they were delicious.

We go here pretty often, usually for funk night. Drink specials are usually pretty good, but the staff isnt really friendly. Funk night DJ is lazy. He plays songs for too long, and often the songs are not remotely funk-y. He doesnt do mashups, and he doesnt take requests.

Very nice American bar with pool and other classic bar games. It is very popular and crowded on Wednesday for the "Funk Night" with very cheap beers. Bouncers are very friendly even if they are still doing their job and kicking you out at closing time

Cool place to go for a drink and a little fun. There are a number of pool tables and arcade games on one side. The other side is the dance floor and karaoke area. I have frequented this place many times while living in Davis.
