Came in thirsty, left with dissapointment and a bloody hand. I stopped by on a Monday afternoon for a beer and happy hour snacks. I placed my order and waited about 20 minutes just for fries. When the server bought out my order I asked for silverware and a napkin (fries were extra greasy, which was fine). I proceeded to watch the server help other guests but never received any utensils. I caught her attention and asked again for some napkins. The server literally sat and chatted with other customers and never brought out napkins or silverware. I sat and read a book for about an hour and enjoyed another beer, which I had to order from the bar, before leaving. When I was ready to leave I cut my hand on a piece of broken glass that was on the bench seats I had been sitting on. Since my server could care less about customer service I went to the bar to close my tab. I first asked for a napkin for my bloody hand and the bartender brought out my bill completely ignoring the fact my hand was bleeding into my other cupped hand. I paid and explained to the bartender that there was broken glass all around the table I sat at. He gave me a single napkin and apologized for the broken glass. As I was walking out I found my server and notified her of the broken glass around my table and she immediately got a broom and started sweeping the floor. She somehow didnt understand that the broken glass was on the seats not the ground. At this point I was simply baffled by the incompetence of all the visible staff. I have been to the Jaded Toad before and had a pleasant experience. During my first visit our server sat at our table to take the order which was awkward and uncomfortable. Stop trying to be my friend and hang out with my table. Do your job and provide customer service, thats all. I get that youre trying to give off a friendly neighborhood vibe but actually doing your job should come first. I will never return or recommend this establishment to anyone.

I ordered the six drum sticks. I received three wings and three drum sticks on a bed of mushy over cooked white rice. I pointed out that I did not get what I ordered. The waitress replied "oh, they must have run out ." She did not replace the drum sticks, nor did she give me a price discount. She did not check on me and I was not offered a re-fill on my iced tea. I had to get up and wave her down for the check. The hostess had breasts that bulged all the way out of her tank too and she bent over in front of us and pulled up her tank top, which incidentally made no difference. The waiter and hostess were too busy chatting it up to care about doing their job. It was my first time as well as my Last time

4 stars for the atmosphere and service. The appetizers are very good but only reasonable on happy hour. The main food is kinda dissapointing. Ive not had their $24 meat platters though, but why spend 24+ when youre dissapointed by the $14 fair. Mind, its not bad. The food is actually good but it dissapoints because they dont have classics because they are trying to do fancy bar food, but they cant pull it off. The beers were incredible when they opened, their beer list has been cut in half and they kept mostly the booring stuff.

First visit was great. Tonight we arrived at 5:45pm, sign said, "Let us know when youre here." No waiters in sight. Waited a few minutes and sat down. Many of the staff passed us. We went up to talk to one lady to ask if we could get some help and she stated coldly, "Well, you didnt exactly let us know you were here." We sat back down and watched them seat and serve two others, ignoring us which felt purposeful. Got up and left quietly. Went to Redwood Cafe and had a great night. May not return to the Toad.

Jaded toad has the perfect atmosphere. I recommend it to all my friends. And the girls are hot as heck ! The food is off the chain. What more could a person ask for in a wonderful setting such as Cotati. The staff is very attentive and provide prompt service. The food prices are very very reasonable. And you get to stay warm with propane heating on cold evenings. I highly suggest you enjoy all the great things this wonderful place has to offer.

Like so many others here, the service killed the experience here. I live down the street and love both beer and bbq, and this is a very appealing place to go, but I cant really give them any more chances. Great space, good beer, good menu but I have tried this place 6 times in the last year and the only thing consistent has been unpleasant service. Good management could this place awesome. Maybe Ill try again next summer.

Mixed service, good beer, nice outside atmosphere. The service is great some days and other days the staff is stretched too thin and you can never get your server. Too me 15 minutes to pay my bill yesterday. The other service pet peeve for me is that the server never knows the rotating beers. They have a great beer selection but you have to go to the bar to find out what it is.

Great atmosphere. I would go back with a large party, but my portobello sandwich was kind of blah and the fries were too salty (not to mention I had ordered coleslaw, but got fries instead). The root beer float was good but the dollop of ice cream seemed a little skimpy. Overall, okay, but I am not hankering to go back anytime soon. Unless I plan to get drunk. ;)

A really nice place to have great traditional BBQ dishes with an amazing outside atmosphere. Even during winter its a nice place to hangout since the have heaters all over the place. Besides the fact they have around 30 beers on tap, all the beers are similar and IPA style. Belgium or German style beers you cant find there.

Good food and good vibes. Be sure to check out the beer selection at the bar, not all options are listed on the menu; silly and inconvenient. Food is consistently good. 1/10 times I was there the bacon on my BLT was overcooked; the staff could not have been more curdious in rectifying the situation.

Good beer variety. Food is quality and generously fills the void and the vibe, Its like having a fairly tame back yard party. Be in and out by 10ish. Thats when the city rats come out. Theyre local and if youre observant, youll see them flick about near the street side.

Great staff, very friendly. During our stay weve been here 3 times, all with great service. The staff described the different beers we had questions about. Our appetizer were very good. Tried their wings very tasty. If were back in the area we will diffently be back.

Great place! Yummy. Watch out, though. If youre not careful, theyll put mushrooms on your food and there is often a girl there named Nicole. Watch out for her. Shes amazing, but, apparently, she likes to stereotype and cant see the forest through the trees. Steve.

Awesome location. I despise bars but this feels much more "classy" so I guess its okay? The outside setting is great and the old reclaimed look sells the place. Ask for the Bartender Alex, he is awesome and always delivers an exceptional experience.
