My husband and I ate here again the other night and I decided to be daring (for me) & try something different on the menu. Im not usually the type to order the unique things on the menu - usually just stick with the traditional foods, but had a friend (who does not like traditional enchiladas) recommend the enchiladas del el sol (with shredded beef). Glad I tried them, they are definitely unique! They dont have the usual enchilada sauce and they come out on a sizzling hot plate like fajitas (so be careful they are definitely hot! ) Smelled soo good and I was not disappointed!

This place is an absolute gem! Truly THE BEST Mexican breakfast I have ever eaten! We stopped here by chance on our way to Borrego Springs State Park from LA and we were blown away! The huevos rancheros are to die for, the chips and salsa are out of this world and the service was fantastic! We loved it so no we had to stop again on our way back! I will dream about this breakfast for the rest of my life!!!

Its a good small restaurant, we were in the mood for Mexican and this place had good reviews so we thought we would give it a try. We had tacos and enchiladas and Tacos were authentic and very flavorful. We recommend it and will definitely come back. The portions are large and you will definitely leave full. Chips and salsa are complementary and the drinks are free refills.

Went to Sunday brunch at Taps and have a mixed review. First, the good! Great service with friendly not overbearing wait staff. Champagne refills kept coming. Relaxed atmosphere. No need to rush. Buffet included some salads, crab legs, calamari, cheese platters, carving station, etc. The usual suspects. You can order off of the menu, which is nice.

Love the Tri-tip steak here. Ribs are great too. BBQ is very nice. The sides are great, especially like the asparagus. Good wine list. Take all my out-of-town company here. Everyone enjoys it. Take a seat on the outdoor patio. Nice and quieter than the restaurant.

Me and my wife love to get cozy by the fire place with a cigar friendly heated patio at this restaurant and enjoy a Mojito or a nice cold beer, the view of the Dos Lagos is spectacular and breath taken but the live music Friday night is great.

Food was good, plate was too small for price. Ordered 3 taco plate, tacos were very small but very nicely presented and tasted amazing. Probably wouldnt eat again if I was looking for value for my dollar.
