This restaurant have to criticize is highly overpriced for the quality of the food, and its presentation. Your food is served on paper plates with plastic utilsals, in a room with only about nine or ten tables. For a burrito with meat it is about 8 dollars, more than there competitors, that must have a much higher overhead. I, myself have been vegan for a couple years, and beans and rice have always been a great source for me to get great nutrition. When I went to visit this restaurant I ordered a bean burrito, with no cheese. While my mother and I were talking, chewing, drinking and eating, I came upon a piece of pork in my burrito. I called him over just to tell him the mistake that had happened. He immediately said commented on the fact that since I am vegetarian I have to exact that to happen, which shocked me. Then to make it worse, I asked him politely to tell the cooks the mistake, due to a slightly large population of vegetarians and vegans in the area, and courtesy to them, and he refused. I understand family restaurants are always fighting for business, but I am confident in saying that this is not the best way to gain customers. Due to his rude service I will probably never go back to that restaurant again, and will definitely never recommend it to anyone. He is also very very rude if you didnt get that from the beginning, he has been rude to me before which is strange because i am his neighbor, and not an annoying customer in any way shape or form. do not do here

They always say you can find the best Mexican food in Pilsen and whoever is "they" they were right! I was a little skeptical to eat here at first and the line was insane and inside the restaurant was soo hot I felt like I was in a sauna because of all the people inside waiting but Im sure glad that I tried it! They give you free chips and salsas which is standard at a Mexican joint but the chips are really light and crispy which made us go through 4 baskets of them! They also give you free homemade chicken and rice soup which was also very tasty but had a lot of bones so be careful when you eat it I almost choked on a bone.

We loved eating here for several years. The atmosphere is easy and casual, and the service is GREAT, as is the food. The owner and his family, many of whom work or have worked there are respectful and fun. They work hard to make this the great place it is. Although their preparation and presentation is great, its down to earth, authentic Mexican food, not like the pictures you see in the gourmet type magazines and online. Its simple and perfect, and Mexican food at its best. If you want some of the best Mexican food around and a great, causal place with a comfortable environment, this is the place.

Food was "delicious" and fair price, and the two guys in front were so friendly and humble, they even helped me with my food to my truck (it was only 1 bag a 2 person order), I even called my order in and they told me it would only be 3 minutes (super fast and fresh) and thats that it was lunch time on a Thursday around 12pm....., I will defitnally be back!!!! Awesome little Mexican food restaurant. The price is a little high, but the taste makes up for that fact. If your looking for a fancy sit down restaurant this is not it, but if you looking for the best hole-in-the-wall Mexican food place this is it. This is the best Mexican food place in Yorba Linda south of Orangethorpe.

I started eating here in 1994 with friends & family for lunch/dinner, the quality of food have not change still delicious. Family owned, quick bite & good lunch specials. I still come from time to time & order the flautas my favorite with a choice of meat topped with guacamole.

There is nothing fancy about this place or the price, just great mexican food, a clean environment and great service. I am writing this review after my 10th visit here. The staff is always very attentive and the food has always been great.

My favorite Mexican food place in Orange County. Ive been coming here for years and the foods is delicious and the family that owns it is always warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend coming here if youre craving Mexican.

This place is heaven. HEAVEN. Cant go wrong with a carnitas super taco. The one drawback is that its always packed, but they keep the line moving pretty quickly, and I cant exactly fault them for having a successful business.

Great authentic Mexican food! If you are searching for those niche, small, local Mexican restaurants, this ones for you. I recommend the wet carne asada burrito. The portions are massive at a good price, 5/5 stars every time.
