I will now remember to use my phone to check reviews befoar I walk in Dx wasted so much money here, 30 dollars just lost. I decided to just sit in with mai boyfriend to celebrate his tax return, and it was such a nice rainy foggy gloomy cold day. We sat next to a window and I ordered a chicken club and soup, but no soups were available. The keystone was gone and we were about to leave right then. Everything was then impulsive because we had sat down already. So disappointing, just after lunch and no soups, in such nice weather we had been walking in. The chicken club was GROSE. The chicken was ice cold, a little cool is fine for a refreshing club but this was STONE COLD. The entire club was dripping with some disgusting ranch, all I could taste was ranch. A ranch sandwich, soaked in ranch. Mai boyfriend even complained that the Mt. Dew was watered down, and FLAT. It even made us feel sick later that day, we were having really bad stomach pains. Our server was okay.... for a server. She seemed really weird, and made me feel uncomfortable. Like she had an obvious fake smile that some servers have, she later became human and relatable after we ordered, but before that, she was liek.... uncanny valley wax dollish. If youre not happy, dont smile. Smiling so much is.... creepy. We bought candy at foodmaxx so we could have something not disapointing to put in our mouths.

UPDATE: I rated this location "One Star" 20 months ago (June 2015. Since then it has been updated and much improved (although I have not re-ordered fruit). Pancakes and breakfast items are the specialty and quite good, but other meal items are average. Service: Improved. Prior Review We had a second bad experience here on this late June day. A dirty diaper and trash was on ledge right outside the entrance. After a long wait to be seated, we told the manager about the trash, assuming it would be quickly dealt with. When we left 45 minutes later it was still there in the hot weather. Food: The omlette was good but the "fresh fruit" side was mushy, old watermelon (in peak season!) The bannister outside restaurant near Clayton is rotted and falling in need of repair . We like IHOPs most places but I doubt this location will remain open long unless big changes are made."

I went to the restaurant to celebrate my sons birthday. He was excited because he has seen that they sing for customers birthdays. However, my son left the restaurant disappointed and ignored something no child should feel on their birthday. We noted to the staff FOUR times that it was his birthday and was waved off. They did sing for two other people,one that arrived before us and one that arrived after. So we knew they provided the service. At the end a server did bring my son an ice cream treat but no singing (the thing he really wanted). This lack of attention was unacceptable as it was not even a busy time and I asked multiple times for the gesture that they announce as a customer perk. I do not recommend attending for special celebrations .

The worst service you can ask for. The servers demeanor is very gloomy. I thought that maybe it was just that day, but Ive been there more than once to see that. Everything was extremely slow, and it took over 10 minutes to order our drinks, just to be told we couldnt order food until the server came to us. Theres no sense of urgency at all. To top off the terribly slow and unwelcoming experience, the table they sat us on had some nasty stains. In terms of cleanliness and service in a hospitality business, this store has miserably failed. We walked out before ordering our food, because at that pace, we would have waited at least 40 minutes for anything to come out.

Ive been coming to this ihop for about 5 years now. I live in Pittsburg and drive here because this location is amazing. My coffee is always great. Eric has been serving me for 4 years now and I sometimes drive to Martinez just to have his service. Food is always good, rarely is it off. Thanks for my breakfast.

Ive been here quite a few times, since it is conveniently close to me. They have been remodeling the place, so it is looking better. Food is usually good. The servers are a hit and miss. The ones that have worked there the longest, are usually great, attentive and prompt.

If you love pancakes, then this IHOP is right for you. It is located in a central part of town. The main room was cold when we were there recently so hopefully their heater is working again.

One of the employees wouldnt let me and my family sit at the table I wanted which was empty and he also had a shady look in his face and was rude. He also said, "Never come back here!!!"

Jonathan the server is exceptional. Cobb salad had too much dressing and the chicken was not Cooke well. Furst time I have been disappointed in IHOP. Stick to the pancakes!
