Morning Thunder is the best of what you can can get without going to a place for the super rich. It is a family owned and operated dinner. The food and portions are absolutly incredable. The main cook ruben is not only a great cook but also a great father and family man. the owner Dee, her son Dillon and the rest off the morning thunder staff all strive to give each and every customer the best personal dinning experience possable...even when they have 30 people waiting for a table.Thank you morning thunder for so many great years of GREAT FOOD!!!!! They also have the best B&G around.

We enjoyed our Sunday brunch .I love eating breakfast out but dont do so frequently because of the distance from home to Chico restaurants. The service was good in spite of the restaurant being busy. The food was ordinary. Not excellent, not inedible. Very large portions. The flavors could have been elevated with the simple use of herbs.(chives, Rosemary, cilantro at a minimum?) high five for the amazing biscuits! We will go back, I just wish I felt more excited about the thought of eating there again.

Cute dining room decorated in 50s reminiscent decor. Very comfy chairs and perfect sized tables. Place was pretty much full up till closing time. Enjoyed so great portion sized and delicious food. Reminds me of the good food back home. Will revisit this place. Clean, friendly and fairly fast for how busy they are. Windows surround making it feel wonderful to be inside. Can tell this is a great "locals" place, but no greasy spoon. A+!

The food was good. We had a big party and they said it would be 20 minutes for a table. We waited over an hour for enough room. The kids started to get fussy because of being hungry and waiting so long. The staff was very nice and did everything to make sure we had our food. The kids ordered the Minnie mouse pancake(which is still huge). The shakes are amazing. Everything was great besides the really long wait for a table.

Morning Thunder has great food and excellent service. Kayla took my order with a smile. I got eggs bacon and potatoes to go. Even with it being busy, I was in and out with in 10 minutes of ordering. Morning Thunder is at the top of the list for Breakfast. If you havent been, you are missing out

My 4-star rating is given from the perspective of the acceptability of a conventional United Statesean diet. Good service, large portions, some gluten-free stuff, and tasty food overall. Be prepared to wait in line, especially on week-ends. I get just the home fries here.

Best breakfast burritos!!! Super busy on the weekends so plan accordingly and be prepared to wait to be seated. Its worth the wait and if you want to complain just leave. The staff doesnt deserve that, they are friendly and the owner always remembers people.

Amazing staff - so friendly and efficient. We were there for less than 5 minutes and had at least 3 people trying to help us. Smiles and amazing attitudes abound with everyone. Food was amazing, huge portions and great prices. They have an amazing sorbet mimosa!

We are visiting from out of town and we found this place just around the corner from our hotel. It has a retro diner look and feel. The portions are huge and the food is really good! We had that the thunder burrito and biscuits and gravy and they were excellent.

This place was very good. It isnt very big and I could tell if it were a weekend there would probably be a good wait. I had the 3-2-1 with a waffle and it was great. The bacon was nice and crispy and the waffle was too!

The portions are big so that was awesome. Unfortunately the flavor was not there. It gets packed on weekends therfore the service is ridiculously slow. My wife never got a refill on her coffee.
