I have never in my life felt so disrespected. To think that this was my favorite restaurant for YEARS and to be treated the way I was today makes me beyond sad. I drive 25 minutes across town to order my favorite BBQ quesadillas to get home and open my box with dry quesadillas and no BBQ sauce. Usually I wouldnt even be on here writing reviews but the way staff and madmen handled this was beyond unacceptable. I called to let them know that the only thing I came all the way there for wasnt made right and the receptionist said he didnt put any sauce and was very busy and hung up. I called right back to talk to the manager and he got on the phone and said "What do you want me to do. You want me to drive all the way to your house to put bbq sauce. You want a free dish because we forgot to put a little sauce on your plate. I am very sorry but I am very busy" and hung up the phone on me. At this point I am fuming because I never even asked for anything except maybe an open ear. I cant believe that things turned out this way because I was unhappy with the food I payed for. I will NEVER go back to this place again which is unfortunate because it use to be one of my favorites.

Where to begin..... Ordered the fish tacos, received the shrimp tacos (tails still attached). Since I received and ate the shrimp tacos, why not review them. One of the tacos, the shrimp were battered and fried - how the fish tacos are made to order. The other taco came with the shrimp boiled. Neither variation was appetizing at $13.25 for the miss match pair. I also ordered the nachos and paid the extra $3.50 for chicken. The menu described a large helping of sour cream and guacamole. There was plenty of sour cream but I could have scooped a bigger portion of the guacamole with a childs spoon. And did I mention I paid extra for the chicken because it was nowhere to be found. As you can see from the picture Ive attached, there was maybe a total of 4 strands of shredded chicken which tasted like it was scooped out of a can and placed directly on my plate.

I had the WORST experience here, the service was lacking training and they were disrespectful reaching for empty plates right across my face with out saying excuse me the food doesnt even taste like mexican food it is synthetic frozen food which really pissed me off because i brought my dad here on his birthday and the chips were so stale salsa did not even have flavor it has to be the fakest worst mexican restaurant ive ever been to not to mention i got charged 100 dollars for 3 plates that contained more onion and chile then anything this is the place id recommend you to bring your girlfriend if you want her to break up with you I absolutely hate this place never in my life ill be back!

Having been raised in New Mexico and Arizona, Im used to great Mexican food. Always on the look-out for good Mexican food in California, I stumbled upon Guadalajara years ago when it was a very small strip mall restaurant. Then, the food was very good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was very, Very, VERY LOUD! Today, theyre in a separate building in the same strip mall. Its much larger and a lot quieter. The service is still excellent and the food is still very good. My family eats there regularly and we highly recommend that you give it a try.

I had been to this restaurant many years ago and thought the food was very bland and basic. I was shopping in the area the other night and the family was hungry so I decided to give it another try. The building is brand new and the staff is very friendly but the food is still very bland like hospital food. The worst part about it is the bill was $53.00 dollars for two tacos, fajitas; my kids split a burrito and 4 sodas. This place is the worst and next time I will drive the four extra blocks to El Tapitia at Clayton and Treat for real deal mexi food.

OMG!! Worst Mexican I have had in a long time. Just Bad. I grew up in LA (known as the second largest Mexican city - by population size), and I ate Mexican food every day, so I know good Mexican food. I have eaten here quite a bit because my boyfriend likes to go but I have had nothing worth reordering. He likes the chicken burritos. I have asked what is good and the response is "everything". Well, I recommend avoiding everything. Americanized, bad ingredients, low quality meats, atrocious flavor on everything I have had. Avoid at all costs.

My husband and I had an awful customer service experience here. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive (water and virgin margarita) 10 more minutes for our waitress to come back and then an extra 25+ minutes for our our waitress to even talk to us. She kept walking by completely ignored us and when called did not ever come back. I had to tell the bus boy to tell her to cancel our order and give us the check. Then that took 10 minutes. Slow service and terrible customer service, I will never be coming back.

The restaurant has been around a dozen years or more and remains very popular. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy night but usually something within 50 yards as turnover is brisk. Service on this visit was very prompt and reasonably priced beers on the table 10 minutes from walking in. Chips and salsa were on the table within seconds of being seated. The menu is typical Mexican, fairly basic but adequate choices. Main courses run $12 to $17 which is a little high but they are the only game in town

Service is not good. The food was good though. When we first started going here we had great service. The last few times the service has been severly lacking. As soon as a large group enters all attention is focused on them while smaller tables are fogotten. The only people that would help us would be the kitchen staff walking by that we stopped. Each time was a different waiter. Never stopped to check our drinks, chips, or even to ask if were ready for a bill. Had to get kitchen staff to do that.

El servicio es horrible.... Los meseros responden abructamente y ala defensiva cualquier pregunta hecha por el consumidor..... La comida es mala..... Gustos y resetas no claras ... Platos típicos con toques gourmet... Eso no está bien.

My family and I have come to guadalajara for years. I have never been able to find another restaurant with chimichangas like theirs. They are stuffed full of white meat chicken and tons of cheese. They never have a problem giving you what you want... not enough chicken on your fajitas... they will bring you TONS more. Not enough alcohol in the margarita for your liking... they will bring you another shot with a smile on their face! The waiters are great and have been around for years too.

El platillo que pedí incluia un corte de carne y sopa de arroz, la carne era aceptable pero el arroz sabía muy mal, el lugar es caro para la comida que ofrecen, aunque se ve limpio y atienden amablemente.
