*****REVIEW TAKEN FROM YELP***** These people writing positive reviews on here about Richmond Bar and Grill were either paid, or are truly delusional. The owners have done nothing to the place other than drive 75% of their business away. There will always be people who will look past the mediocre food and horrible service to enjoy the spectacular view, and I get it. Great view. Sad it has to be clouded by the worst management and customer service to ever serve a plate of food or a long awaited drink. Im not going to tell you not to go to this establishment but I will tell you that I surely wont. Anyone who visits here will see whats left of a dilapidated and always uninhabited bar. The owner lies on yelp and responds to reviews only a couple hours after they are posted, not to mention with blatant lies about what they think(and clearly, dont know) happened. Its obvious from their immediate responses to all the negative reviews that they have something to hide and make up for. Im pretty sure the management just like confrontations. They may think that this belittling of customers is insignificant or that responding to the posts will make people think that their restaurant is okay, but anybody who knows anything about yelp will look at the abundance of negative reviews and the common message in those reviews, and they will see that this restaurant suffers from an owner with no restraint, who manages with the mind of a middle schooler who has been given control of a lake-side bar. Its sad because they have a great location, but they will never succeed, because the new generation of people and clientele dont have time or patience for incompetent owners living in the past, and in a world pre yelp, pre people reviewing and sharing their experiences. They only come across as desperate owners who have to make up and provide damage control for their out of control management.

Danny & Donna are the owners and the whole family works here...The nepotism is out of control and it looks like mores coming!! Danny has got an attitude that can make Blue Algae smell sweet…Don’t go here for the hospitality…Food is good because it is contracted out to a non-family member. Don’t eat if sourpuss Donna in the grill…While the son-in –law is watering down the liquor at the bar the straight face daughter is cleaning your table rushing you out for the next un-expecting patron. A little customer service and this place would rock so sad they take their customers for granted and they realize they are the only game on the lake... PS…If you gas your boat at Braitos Buckingham Marina down the way you’ll save $65.00 and they’ll say “THANK YOU” with a big smile. At Richmond Park a little appreciation would go a long ways…

The food has gone downhill. Burgers use to be amazing. Terrible now. Also when you show up with spring water in your clear canteen because they serve tap expect no hello or welcome but a " hey is that vodka" upon arrival. Also if its a weekend. Dont expect handicap parking, apparently harley riders come first over my disabled father. After a group of us, 20+ placed orders and drinks and $350 later I was told I cant leave my car here for a hour while we go on the boat. Parking sign says parking for customers only which I feel $350 later I would be. The "wife" was super rude and told be tough luck. So here I am saying Ill never return after 6 years of coming in. You have lost mine and my familys money. Looks like the spot or pit stop will now be my go to burger on the lake.

Well, I want to give this bar more than one star but I cant. I tried to order food to go once at 6:00 p.m. and another time at 4:55 p.m., both on Sundays. The first time I was told they stopped doing pick-up orders. The second I was told they were too busy to take any pick-up orders. Keep in mind the kitchen has still been open during both of these times. How hard is it to cook the food and then just put it into a to-go box and ring it out? Not hard at all. Skip this place, save your cash and pick up some food/drinks at Riviera Foods.

My usual mid afternoon stop while fishing clearlake. Nice patio/deck over the lake. Good dock to tie up your boat. You can sit inside out of the heat at the bar and it overlooks the lake. Its bar food folks. Deep fried stuff... hamburgers etc. That said its not at the top of my list for bar/grills but considering its location its a win in my opinion. I cant say Id go out of my way to get there unless I was on the lake already. Ill be back next time Im out fishing and need a break from the day for some food and a stiff drink.

I live in the riveria hieghts which is very close i have been disrespected rip off and offended i pretty shere its been a bad visit every time the kids menu sucks they mess the order up every time they charge you for everything that should come with a meal they even charge for each idem orderd to go i hope they read these reviews because they need to change or be known as a rip off!

Reuben, onion rings, garlic fries, beer, covered marina patio all make this a great boating stop. Self order and pick up. Bar ring up separate. Boating tie ups plentiful; good lower lake destination. Reuben was very good. Onion rings good but not excellent. Garlic fries are a must if you like garlic; possibly the best. Tricerahops available.

The drinks were horrible. No one knew how to mix 2simple drinks correctly. Vodka with 7up & Long Island iced tea came out tea with a ton of lemon. Never again. Food blah. Just like drinks.

Good food, very good beer, great staff. We feel very fortunate to have Richmond Park available, we make a point of taking visitors there. Right on the water, very casual, just a fun place.
