We ordered a dozen custom ice cream cupcakes for my daughters birthday. I spoke and ordered with "Sam". Confirmed the price. Confirmed the pick-up time for the party. When I got there.....they only made SIX cupcakes!!! ZERO apologizies from the teenagers working. No manager onsite to converse with. They told me if I waited 45 minutes they could make me six more. Except, that would have made me late to my daughters birthday party. So I was forced to grab whatever cupcakes they had for sale in their grab-n-go freezer, which of course was not ideal, with a hodge-podge of cupcake styles and then at the party I had to deal with 8 kids saying "I dont want that kind, can I have that other kind instead?" the whole time. If someone would have apologized in a sincere manner, or perhaps offered a discount off the ones I was forced to purchase, perhaps I wouldnt be so mad. But no one in the place cared, they literally shrugged and said "Oh well, yeah, theres only six. You didnt order twelve." Oh really? I dont know how many cupcakes I needed for my own kids party? Guess who will NEVER be back to this store again....my family of five. And we have two more birthdays coming up, my sons, who were actually really excited and said "Mommy, can we do this for our parties, too?" I told them "Of course!" Now, not so much. We will find another location where they know how to get a simple order of 12 cupcakes correct.

Our family orders the 1/2 gallon size ice cream (best deal) and have done so with two signature ice creams several times at the Rocklin location. We decided to try this Citrus Heights location and were disappointed. I told the owner we had ordered this as a family tradition and have done so quite often in Rocklin (Rocklin suggested it to us in the first place). He said "i doubt it" which was offensive. He said his store just doesnt do that, to which I replied asking "how much more is it with two signatures?" He had to calculate it out loud. He was just set on saying no, but I dont take no for an answer :) He said it would be $3.00 extra to which I replied I would only pay $1.00 extra. He agreed, but after that ordeal I feel I should not have purchased the ice cream out of principle. He was not focused on customer satisfaction. Bottom line, this place is not worth the hassle. The floor was broken, things are a bit dirty. Typical of an owner focusing only on cost, not on the experience of the customer.

Went in last night because we had a BOGO coupon, also had a 2 for $5 coupon which I gave to the people in line behind me. Because I did that the guy that was doing their ice cream rolled his eyes and started whispering to the worker that was making my ice cream and they continued to talk trash back and forth while we waited for ours to be done. Our guy was also annoyed when we mentioned our coupon. Dont plan on coming back because its pointless for them to get so mad over something so small, especially since the place was packed so its not like I was costing them business.

I wanted to get a custom cake from them, so I laid out my plans at first, and I even needed to make several small changes along the way! I worked with a gentleman with an eastern European accent at first who was very helpful, then when I called later to make my changes over the phone, Megan helped me and got me all the answers I needed really quickly. I am super happy with the help Ive gotten from the staff, and I know the quality is of the utmost. If I have any further notes to add, Ill edit this later, but so far its been 5-star for my order.

I swore last time I went into this Cold Stone it would be my last time. When I went in one of the employees gloves were on after handling money. I asked her to change them before handling my food. She scuffed, rolled her eyes, and was nasty for the rest of the time. This is not the first time questions of sanitation have come up. This was not the first time an employee has been rude. Just go over to Walmart. You get more ice cream for your money and none of the sass.

Really yummy ice cream. Usually pretty busy, but worth the wait. The only negative part is that I went to buy ice cream with a gift card, and they wouldnt accept it, saying that they couldnt take them at the moment. There were no signs, and I was told that AFTER they already made the ice cream for me. Otherwise, great place and convenient location.

This ice cream is so good! You can make it however you want it they have an awesome menu and great staff me and my grandma and parents have been returning to this exact location for several years because of how great it is here

Walked in and after waiting for a couple minutes I was advised that they were closed. They were still serving people in line and no one said anything when I walked in. I will take my business elsewhere.
